HIGHLY recommend bringing your 58 year old dad as your date to your childhood best friend’s wedding banquet, where you will be seated at a round table — a high school reunion circle of 5 real couples — effectively 11th wheeling, because every 10 minutes, the bride’s father will come to personally serve you some sympathy Royal Salute 38 year old Stone of Destiny blended scotch whisky. what another solid night celebrating @satay.lor & Ed for third time this year, this time all the way across the world in HOME KONG! 🇭🇰💍 I love you & congratulations again my loves. I wish you both a lifetime of tenderness & joy xxx by @jiwonchristinera

impromptu weekend solo backpack trip to Ireland 🍂🍁

a visual diary of everything I did & saw —>

I landed Saturday evening so I dropped off my bag at the hotel & went straight to The Brazen Head (Ireland’s oldest pub estd 1198)! Ordered beef stew & my first Guinness of the trip 🍻

Wandered over to the room next door and there was a live performance of traditional Irish music 🎶 SLÁINTE

Walked along Temple Bar and to check out the ornate Victorian gilded mirrors at The Long Hall 🪞✨ ft. wood carvings of the arched mahogany partition dividing the room. Obsessed

moonlit views of River Liffey at night 🌝

slow Sunday morning waiting out the rain at the famed Old Mill Restaurant 🥓🍳 a FULL traditional Irish breakfast

FaceTime chitchat with @satay.lor while floating through the Irish museum of modern art

My legs hurt from all the walking so made my way over to Two Pups to take a load off & treat myself to a savory pastry, cookie & chai latte ☕️ SUGAR RUSH

BLESSED to have coincidentally booked my tour at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral during their choir practice 🍀🥹 such beautiful singing. I also really took my time here and listened to every single episode of the audio guide lol

The burial site of Jonathan Swift & his “friend” Stella, who he insisted wanted buried right next to 👀 Rip legend

Guinness Storehouse Experience 🍺 yes I paid €10 extra for this & it was worth every penny. “models don’t drink beer” woah excuse me I’m sorry but there’s literally nothing that can/will get in my way of GETTING MY FACE PRINTED ONTO MY PINT OF BEER

Trinity College! Beautiful architecture, I wish I got to experience a gorgeous campus like this in college. Alas, I went to Parsons in New York so Union Square is all I got 🐀

The Book of Kells Experience at the Long Room 📚 there was an ancient 9th-century illuminated manuscript I wasn’t allowed to photograph but here I am in the 65 metre library hall!

My first ever Gaelic boxty at Gallagher’s Boxty House (traditional Irish potato pancake) 🥞😋 this is apparently one of the only spots left to eat traditional boxty in Dublin. Sooo good, I absolutely devoured this because by this point I walked approx 22k steps
