I’m blessed to announce my commitment to play D1 football at Old Dominion University!

First and foremost, I would like to thank God for giving me every opportunity and for guiding me throughout my journey. I would not be where I am today without Him.

I would also like to thank my family and friends for supporting me throughout my recruitment process, my mom, dad, my sisters Annie and Mary, and my grandparents for all of the love and support they have given me.

I would like to thank all of my football coaches who have played a role in helping me become the best player I can be. Thank you to Coach Clelland, Coach Chafee, Coach Moore, Coach Ellick, and Coach McMullen for all of the years he has invested in me.

Thank you to my lacrosse coaches at 91 VA and STC for helping me become the best athlete I can be: Coach Ireland, Coach Mack, Coach Ward, Coach Nease, Coach Daley, Coach Burke, Coach Moorman, Coach Horner, Coach JBJ, and Coach Hart. Thank you as well to my track coaches, Coach Evans and Coach Purdy, and to my strength coaches at Total Training and Elite Athlete Development: Coach Keith, Coach Blanton, Coach Shane, and Coach Matt.

A special thank you to my dad, Coach Tidwell, who has done everything he can to help me become the best athlete and man I can be. It never mattered what sport I was playing. Whether it’s spending countless hours driving me all over the country, researching drills and trainers, or coming to the field to throw me passes and play defense against me, he has always done everything he can to help me succeed. Thank you, Dad.

Lastly, thank you to Coach Smith, Coach Rahne, and everyone on the ODU staff for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. Go Monarchs! by @jj.t.9
