Chase will pay you $300 a year to eat at Mike's Bistro.

The Chase Sapphire Reserve® Card gives you $150 every January to June and another $150 every July to December at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants. Mike's is the first and only kosher restaurant on the list. Gift cards count, so you can save up the credits for one big night out.

Dan worked hard to get a kosher restaurant on that list and they invited us out to celebrate. The lamb dumplings in plum sauce were the surprise of the night.

This is how we eat on a 14 hour flight to Dubai.

Kosher airline meals are usually terrible, and once you land there's no guarantee there's anything kosher to eat at all. So we bring our own. Usually that means Polar Bear 48 packs as checked bags, freeze everything solid a few days before and it lands frozen. For this trip Polar Bear sent me their backpack and I'm sold for long flights. It's on your back instead of under the plane, the schnitzel and hot dogs are right at your seat, and everything was still frozen halfway to Dubai.

At the hotel the London broil goes into the HotLogic, a little plug in oven that fits a takeout container. Hot dinner anywhere in the world.

I have never seen anything like this at a football game before.

Chabad at the Stadium sets up outside Hard Rock for every Dolphins home game, and also for the Miami Open and the F1 Miami Grand Prix: kosher barbecue, music, and a tefillin stand. @srulycooks was there too, maybe that's why the wings were fire!

It's all totally free and they don't even ask for donations, but of course I'd highly recommend helping them out: chabadstadium.org

Look for the tent in the lot before kickoff.

P.S. Police arrested the Dolphins fan who punched a Bengals fan for waving a flag at the end of the game. And this is why Baseball is better than Football. Who wants to take their kids to watch this nonsense? #GoTribe

I've never had a Dubai chocolate that lived up to the hype... until this one.

Cholov Yisroel kunafa chocolate from @le_fournil in Dubai. Crunchy and melty. My only wish is that it had more pistachio. They have great food there too, not just chocolate. The only other one I ever loved was the Dubai croissant at @bellabakery_la in LA, and that's a croissant, not a bar.

It cost 80 dirhams, about $22. Would you pay that for a chocolate bar? And have you ever had a Dubai chocolate that was actually good? Tell me where 👇

Most people have no idea what is under their feet at the Kotel.

It blows my mind that this is going on under a plaza everybody walks across, and almost nobody knows about it. They started digging during COVID and they have not stopped. Did you know about this?

We drove to a base in northern Israel to draw the winners.

For one week Paze was handing back $10 on every $10 you spent. DansDeals readers pointed that at Tefillin Connection and turned it into $68,850. That was 6,850 separate donations from 872 people, and almost all of it came back to them as statement credits. For most of them it cost nothing.

So we picked the winners standing next to the soldiers it went to.

Here's the story behind this one:

Dan sat down with Chase and shared feedback on what kosher consumers were missing, including no kosher options in the Sapphire Lounges or the Exclusive Tables restaurant network.

A few weeks later, kosher meals were added to the Sapphire Lounges in Boston, LaGuardia, and Philly.

Then Chase came back and asked for a list of potential kosher restaurant partners from coast to coast. That list is now becoming reality, starting with Mike's Bistro in NYC on August 27.

That's $300 a year in credits, split into $150/6 months, that kosher consumers can finally use.
