I cannot believe it has been 6 years. She missed a lot since then, so much has happened since 2020. All of our lives were changed and altered by covid and then her loss. Although you are gone physically, I know you have been there, you arrive in the rain and watch from above peacefully on the sunniest days. I know you are at peace and with the people you loved the most, and it is much easier to celebrate the happy times these days. Send us a hug from heaven today! Miss you! 🌹 by @jjanbay

The last few years we haven’t celebrated Father’s Day together, sometimes the week before and sometimes the week after. Even last year, he was in the hospital. He was fine with a phone call and a Phillies game on TV, I spent the day with my husband and kids and that was always ok, no pressure, no expectations. He told me he was proud of me, he told me I was a great mother, he wanted all the details of an upcoming trip of a lifetime. He was my constant even if it was thru the phone. He supported everything and loved my husband as a son. Today isn’t hard, just a little sad. He died knowing I was safe, Dave was getting healthy and he died at peace. Its all that matters. 💔 by @jjanbay

Chances are if you are “down the shore” today you may see this guy! He is the one on stage for the first time in months, looking healthy and happy back up there in his happy place. If you see him, tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY! He turns the BIG 59 today and there is lots to celebrate! Love you 🫶 David! Happy to report that Dave was cleared for some exercise! He joined me on my current 50k Challenge and got a nice 1.5 miles. Skin graft healing nice and we continue to be grateful for all the continued prayers! 🤕🙏❤️ taken in Sun Retreats Sea Isle by @jjanbay

One week down ✅ Recovery is moving along smooth! We went to Penn for a bandage change and check up yesterday … next up, skin graft and reconstruction later in May. Thank you all for well wishes and constant presence, the best part is there is no more cancer! 🤕🤕🤕🙏 by @jjanbay
