The appointment of @smartmoneyarese as Managing Director of NASD got me thinking!

This may be an opportunity to change how Nigeria builds billionaires.

Let me explain.

The New York Stock Exchange began in 1792 with just 24 brokers. Nasdaq started in 1971 as the world’s first fully electronic stock market.

For Nigerian Businesses, could NASD help demystify the journey from startup to investment-ready business? Could we create clearer roadmaps so our next generation of innovators can build companies capable of accessing public capital?

If you’re a young entrepreneur in Nigeria , an investor , a growth stage startup , please follow her work , support and what she’s doing… I actually think she’s on to something really amazing.

@smartmoneyarese appointment got me thinking about that possibility.

Her focus seems to be on building an ecosystem that can produce more wealth creators, and more businesses that create wealth for others.

I’ve shared my full thoughts on the subject, plus details of some of her reported plans, on episode 2 of Rent a Thought on YouTube. Click the link in my bio to watch.

That’s my thought, you don’t have to agree with, but I think it’s worth renting for a while .
