One year ago, I was confirmed as a Catholic at Christ the King Catholic Church in Baton Rouge. On Saturday, April 19th, 2025, both a year-long journey of learning and a life-long exploration of my faith came to a meeting point.The process of confirmation was one of the most transformative and educational periods of my life. So many misconceptions and misunderstandings of my faith were answered, and I’d been poised to confront many of those things through OCIA.The year following my confirmation has been one of the most challenging — yet rewarding — times in my life. I’ve grown so much closer in my relationship with Christ, and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.And yes, my priest crowdsurfs on Easter. by @jjbajor
