For those D6 folks up north looking for information on Fun in the Sun trials event… it will NOT be “50/50” scoring rules like 2025. Maybe too late to make plans for some, but you will be done in time to go to Supercross or enjoy Florida things afterwards both days. by @jjohnson480

Big RC carpet guy again. It’s always a challenge to show up and race once a year with basically no prep. This ended up being the first race over 30 years of doing this that I had a new car arranged before practice even started. Turns out, nobody wants to spend the kind of money @rcamerica_xray charges for these kits and parts to be treated poorly by Drew Ellis, particularly me. So… pretty much the whole week was a rebranding to old @zacr92zerodesigns AE decals I had leftover and waiting patiently for my new Schumacher whip to be delivered (thanks @marcmcgurren 🤙) Finished 5th with my “AE” car in the main, one spot better than I qualified by some wheelie Jesus miracle. Highlight of the weekend was finally spotting a rattlesnake on the MTB trails with Chase afterwards, a little down time in camper, my @hobbywing and motiv equipment, meeting some new folks, and ALLLLL the funny support texts. #johnoldstreyrunsxray by @jjohnson480

FCC Mains day. Limping into the main starting 6th. Car will push or get edgy which always makes it fun, but every @teamassociatedrc #factoryteam option we bolt on this xray seems to make it better. by @jjohnson480
