Hey, look! I’m actually posting on here again!

For anyone that noticed, I wiped my page a while back. It’s because life had hit me HARD within the last year. Lots of drama and uncertainty caused my mental health to spiral to a point where I didn’t really know what to do with myself. The good that came out of it, though, was that it led to a lot of positive changes in my life: a beautiful new apartment for my family and I, new friends, and just an overall sense of clarity that hit me like a truck, putting things in perspective

So why a picture of Spock?

My dad, who I lost to a heart attack in 2016 loved Star Trek, especially The Original Series. He could pretty much quote every episode line by line. The night of his wake, I got this Pop from one of the local comic book shops (shoutout to @collectorcave for finding it in the back room) and it’s one of my most prized possessions. It’s a constant reminder that my dad is still here with me and watching my back.

Change is always scary, but everything happens for a reason. If I learned anything through the last year and a half, it’s that things will be ok by @jjtheretro
