Introducing our first MVP card of the semester! Amy Poehler is THE improv queen known for her work on Saturday Night Live, movies like Baby Mama, Mean Girls, Inside Out, tv shows like Parks and Recreation, her podcast Good Hang, her book Yes Please, her online digital community for empowering young girls known as Smart Girls at the Party ( @amypoehlersmartgirls ), and very notably, as a founding member of NYC’s premier improv institution, The Upright Citizens Brigade.

While Any will go down as a legend in every comedy book around, it’s safe to say that she’s nowhere near finished with her contributions and will always be a relevant figure in pop culture, improv, feminism, activism and beyond. She’s ever-evolving, a known team player, and an admirable leader, setting an example for improvisers everywhere- both young and old.

What movies or shows of Amy’s are your favorites??? by @jkimprovco
