The 4Runner is done!

Huge shoutout to @the.overland.design for the original design that gave me the idea and @jawawillkill for the insane paint work and details on the body. @merchantmetalfab made some incredible bumpers and sliders for me and the Cc Hand parts finished it off perfectly!

This has been a long build but it came out exactly as I was hoping it would. By The Fire this year is about to be incredible. taken in Seattle, Washington by @jking.rc

SERIAL NO. 113

This one started with a simple request: an Air Force-themed build.

Then the customer mentioned the F-22 Raptor, an aircraft he knew personally from his time as a pilot and the entire direction changed.

Rather than simply adding Air Force graphics, we challenged ourselves to translate the look and character of the F-22 into a Jeep.

Multiple shades of gray build out the Raptor inspired finish, while gold-tinted windshield and hardtop glass mimic the aircraft’s canopy. We even incorporated the customer’s aircraft number directly into the armor.

Out back, our half-cab cage and pivoting spare-tire carrier finished off the aggressive, purpose built look.

This was one of those builds where the idea sounded difficult from the start, which made us want to do it even more!

RLD 113 — F-22 Raptor inspired.
And one we’re damn proud of.

Built for the Red Line.

S T O R Y || T I M E

From 2008 - 2014, I served in the USAF as a Crew Chief on the F22 Raptor. It was the most proud I have ever felt when it came to a career. Still to this day, I am obsessed over that Jet. Posters, models and Tails from and signed by our pilots hang in my house.

So when it came time to do an IJ Build, there was only one option for me. Have it look like a Raptor. So I went to @redlinedesigns25 and @rcforged with my crazy idea and this is what we came up with.

The wheels are custom made replicas of the wheels from the Raptor. They came out absolutely perfect and I want to give a huge shoutout to @rcforged for doing them for me!

The body design in insane. I sent a bunch of photos to @redlinedesigns25 to show what I was looking for and he absolutely killed it. To include my jet number 131 and the logos too! Plus, the yellow windows give it the perfect final touch. I can’t thank him enough for knocking this out of the park.

Overall, this is my favorite build to date. It sits on an H10 Optic chassis (my favorite chassis ever) and looks even better than I could have imagined. Thanks fellas for making this happen!

Now, I just need a photo of it in front of a Raptor to make into a poster!

****** F O R S A L E******

The time has come to let someone else drool over this truck. Comes as shown with all accessories. Does NOT include FOX tailgate pad that’s listed in the photo of parts. Those that know about this truck, know how insanely nice it is. Buy it and show off to all your friends. Your wife/gf wants you to have it.

$2000 takes it. Would prefer local to Seattle area but will ship if needed. PayPal only. NO TRADES by @jking.rc

Huge shoutout to my guy @rcforged for making these custom wheels for me. They’re exactly what I had pictured in my head. New behind the scenes build going on but curious if anyone can figure it out from the wheels alone. Post below if you know what these are modeled after.
