SS Juan Diaz (FL) brings a load of tools on both sides of the ball

6-0/180. Twitchy athlete. 80-grade runner. Switch-hitter. Super quick hands with bat to ball skills. Has ability to lift and create impact despite smaller frame. Shows quick feet and clean hands as SS

Juan Diaz, the 23rd overall ranked player in the Class of 2027, has announced his commitment to Florida.

Diaz is a twitchy switch-hitter with ++ run, quick hands and the athleticism to impact the game in basically every aspect. He shows advanced bat-to-ball skills from both sides, consistently putting together smooth and balanced hacks where he works his contact to all fields with present gap power but more to come. His speed and bouncy actions stand out on defense as well where his quick feet, soft hands and accuracy give him a real chance to stick at SS, giving him the ingredients to emerge as a legit Day 1 draft follow next year. by @jl3diaz
