In an age defined by collapse, we still crave a story. This sculpture is born from that paradox, Anthropocene Era(se) is our final epic: a tale we tell ourselves to make sense of the fire we’ve lit.

The piece embodies the tension between creation and destruction: the human desire to dominate nature through fire, metal, and myth, and the inevitable decay that follows. As our civilization burns with technological brilliance and ecological ruin, beauty persists.

After all, in the darkest times, fire is indeed beautiful.

“Anthropocene Erase”
Laurels once crowned the brow of Rome,
Marble gods stood stern, enthroned,
Triumphs etched in broken stone
Now drowned beneath a world outgrown.

Iron spires replaced the spears,
And conquest traded swords for gears.
We burned the sky to forge our reign,
And sowed the earth with ash and pain.

Memento mori, whispered winds,
Through circuits, satellites, and sins.
The oil-stained seas, the choking air
Our monuments: despair laid bare.

Once we stood with Caesar’s pride,
Masters of all we could divide.
But what remains of those who soared?
Just data ghosts and climates warred.

Behold the Anthropocene’s grand stage:
A fading script, a burning page.
Where man, now god, forgets to see
The price of immortality.
