All this rain 🌧 made me look through old poems last night. I'm sure i've posted this poem before but it seems very fitting for me to post it again today.

Midnight Rain

Pitter patter
Small splatters
Intimate shatters
Drops of sorrow
Borrowed puddles of tomorrow.
Overflow of emotions.
Thunder, lightning, gray clouds of regret.
Pungent dark smoke
As she rides tidal waves out of control
Will she choke?
Mother Nature shes oh so bold
Flooded with waters
She drowns
Her ship a diary of words.
Spilled ink, testimonial blurs.
A treacherous monsoon of poisonous slurs.
Pain of destruction no ones fault but hers. Saturated in black & blue
She divulged thoughts you never knew.
Howling she cries oceans u cant sail.
She is the midnight storm u cant prevail.

🎨 Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Mike “The Artist” 🕊️

🎨Mike was more than an exceptional artist—he was a true creative force and a beloved part of his neighborhood and community. From airbrushing and glass engraving to countless other forms of artistic expression, Mike had a gift for bringing his imagination to life.

🎨He shared that gift generously, participating in art shows, community events, and nonprofit initiatives, always finding ways to give back. He used his talent not only to create beautiful art, but to connect with people, uplift his community, and make a difference in the best way he knew how.

🎨His creativity, passion, kindness, and willingness to share his gift with others left an impression on so many lives. Though he may no longer be with us, the art he created, the people he touched, and the love he poured into his community will continue to live on.

🕊️ Rest in Power and Peace, Mike.
Your art was your voice, your talent was your gift, and your legacy is the beautiful mark you left on your community.

Maribel, you are the heart behind EHC and the reason our community came together. Please know that we love you, stand with you, and are keeping you and your family in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. 🙏🏽❤️

Melissa was a beautiful supporter of our Pop-Up shops and events, and we are grateful to have shared those moments with her. She will always be remembered and deeply missed.
