Some people will only see the degree but they’ll never understand the weight behind it.In 9 days I am graduating from Fayetteville State University as a first-generation college graduate with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. This journey was never just about school.It was about growth. Growing through loss. Outgrowing friendships. Losing loved ones and still finding the strength to keep going.I’ve had moments where I was on the verge of giving up… but God never left my side. Even when I didn’t understand, He carried me.The hardest part is knowing my mom isn’t here to see this… but I’m doing this for her. To make her proud and to make myself proud.I’ve loved, I’ve lost, and I’ve grown but I never stopped. Now I’m breaking generational barriers. Being the first, but not the last. This is bigger than me.To my family and friends who stayed in my corner, I appreciate you more than you know.This isn’t just a graduation… this is proof that I made it through everything that was meant to stop me and I’m still going. 💜 by @jlow_visionz

As my college journey comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on the moments that made it unforgettable—and this brotherhood stands at the center of it all.College days truly do swiftly pass, but the bonds we’ve built and the memories we’ve made within this chapter will stay with me forever. Serving as Chapter President has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I want to sincerely thank my line brothers, prophytes, and neos for trusting me with that responsibility.I couldn’t have done it without your support, encouragement, and dedication. By God’s timing and grace, I graduated from Fayetteville State University on May 9, 2026. As a first-generation college graduate, this journey came with sacrifices, lessons, tears, growth, and faith — but I made it.This degree means more than simply graduating college. It represents the sacrifices my family made, the pressure of navigating life and college on my own, and the strength it took to keep going even when nobody truly saw how hard things were behind the scenes. It also represents the younger version of me who never thought this moment would actually be possible.This degree is more than a piece of paper to me — it’s proof of God’s grace, favor, protection, and faithfulness over my life. Even in the moments when I doubted myself, God never doubted me. To my illustrious alma mater, Fayetteville State University:Coming in as an out-of-state student, I didn’t know exactly what to expect; I just knew I was stepping into something new. I found this school through social media, but what I discovered in real life was far greater than anything I could’ve imagined. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms into a space that felt like family, a true home away from home.FSU gave me more than an education; it gave me community, belonging, and growth in every sense of the word. I came in as a student, but I’m leaving as a more grounded, confident, and purpose-driven version of myself.To my siblings, thank you for being my foundation and my constant reminder of who I am and where I come from. Thank you for the laughter, the support, and the love that kept me balanced through every high and low. Even from a distance, you’ve been a constant source of motivation and strength, and I carry that with me always.To my mom and dad, thank you for your endless love, sacrifices, and unwavering support throughout this journey. Thank you for believing in me even when I doubted myself, for pushing me when I needed strength, and for always reminding me of my worth from miles away. Being an out-of-state student meant distance, but you never allowed that distance to feel like disconnection.
