JLS Rods is now partnered with Florida Fishing Products. This partnership allows us to sell and pair their reels with our rods. Many of you have seen or fished with @captjclough and know he swears by these reels. Going forward we will be offering these as an option on all of our rods but specifically our model 662 with a Bahia 2500 reel just like Captain Jamie uses on his boats. When you order any JLS rod AND a reel we will discount the price of our rod by $20 OR ship the rod for free. What’s even better is that you can also order the reel spooled with 10lb braid. You never know what someone is going to ask for when they want a custom rod. It was first when Austin asked if we could put President Trump on his rod and make it really patriotic. He picked the images for us to use, chose to have an American flag spiral butt wrap and an American flag wrap on the stripper guide.

We have been busy all winter and have been neglecting our social media pages, but yes we are still building rods and fishing in between this horrible winter weather. Here’s a custom 3wt fly rod we did for a Pennsylvania trout angler recently who also happens to be a Spider Man fanatic. We made a custom cork grip with inlays, added a custom wrap and logos then trimmed the entire in red and blue to match. We’ve also been working with local anglers to bring a new line up of tuna jig/ pop rods to market and as always selling our current line of Premier series rods and gaffs. Pan fish season is in full swing and we also have a stockpile of panfish rods for your favorite species from perch and crappie to pickerel and shad with 3 different models in powers and actions ranging from ultra light, light and our signature lite and mighty rod.
