maybe u recognize these guys, maybe not but these were some of the first original characters i ever created and i decided to redesign them for fun! not sure if i’ll use them for anything in the future but i’m glad i did this and gave them a second life lol 🐰 who’s your favorite?

#oc #digitalart #characterdesign #visdev #explore

Meet Bernie, the yoyo wielding bunny! i wanted him to match the other characters so i changed up his palette a little from his original design 🪀

Meet Mirage, don’t mess with her or she’ll slam you into space ! i think she is probably my favorite of the bunch, i had a lot of fun with her hair

Last but not least, Stu, the only actual bunny of the bunch. or maybe he’s a hare, is it really important though? not in this case lol

these are the original designs from my first ever illustration class as SCAD… honestly i think they hold up to a degree and i think they’re fun by @jlubpoo

@houston.comic is a project I’ve been lucky enough to have seen evolve for the past 3 years. I created this promo art in support of its release this weekend. My extraordinarily talented girlfriend @soursugarparcha has put her heart and soul into this story and its characters. I have grown to fall in love with this comic as if it was my own. I can’t wait for everyone to meet Houston and see the incredible story and world Gaby has created. 🦋

HOUSTON Chapter 1 releases this Sunday on June 21st on @tapas_app !

In 1994, rural Oregon there was a girl who had an obsession with finding beauty within the deceased, she put her obsession into insects and preserved them. However, with friendship forced upon her, she couldn’t help herself but
preserve them too.

Congratulations on an incredible story.

A little bit of a late announcement, but tomorrow I’ll be walking the stage and graduating from the @scaddotedu Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Illustration and a minor in Drawing!

Ever since I was little, I’ve been inspired by the feeling video games and animation gave me, and I’ve been chasing that same feeling in my own work ever since. It’s surreal knowing I won’t be a student anymore, but instead stepping headfirst into the industry and the next chapter of my life.

With that said, I’m officially open for work!

Thank you to my family, friends, classmates, and professors who supported me through every stage of this journey. Thank you for believing in me while I figured myself out, grew as an artist, and created the work I’m proud of today.

I did this for every version of myself: the kid spending all day playing the Wii, the version of me struggling through high school, and the person I am now. 🐝
