Water getting into your basement? THIS is how you fix it at the source. πŸ’§πŸš« We opened up the foundation, exposed the problem area, waterproofed the wall, installed a drainage membrane, footing drain, washed gravel, filter fabric, and new 4” Schedule 40 PVC to move the water away from the house. A lot of people try to fix basement water from the inside first, but when the problem is coming through the foundation, the real solution starts outside. 🚜🏠 Dig it. Waterproof it. Drain it. Protect it. #waterproofing #house #basement #construction #grading by @jlwaterproofing
Another basement waterproofing project completed in Sanford, NC! πŸ’§πŸ πŸšœ This home was getting a lot of water in the basement, so we removed the front porch, excavated around the foundation, exposed the walls, completed the exterior waterproofing, and finished with proper backfilling and grading to direct water away from the home. A lot of work went into this one, but getting to the source of the problem is what matters. πŸ’ͺπŸΌβœ… J&L Waterproofing Keeping homes dry from the outside in. #waterproofing #house #construction #basement #grading by @jlwaterproofing

Another underground downspout drainage system completed by J&L Waterproofing πŸ’ͺπŸ’§ We extended the gutter downspouts underground using 4” Schedule 40 PVC, properly sloped and connected to carry roof water away from the foundation. Keeping large amounts of roof runoff away from your home can help reduce standing water, erosion, saturated soil, and moisture problems around the foundation. We don’t just bury pipe β€” we make sure the system is properly routed, connected, and pitched for long-term drainage performance. πŸ“ Serving Clemmons, Winston-Salem and surrounding areas πŸ“© Message us for drainage, waterproofing, grading, or crawlspace work. #Drainage #DownspoutDrainage #Schedule40PVC #FoundationDrainage #waterproofing by @jlwaterproofing
Another crawlspace transformation by J&L Waterproofing πŸ’ͺ🏽🏠 A damp, exposed crawlspace can lead to moisture problems, mold, wood damage, musty odors, and poor air quality inside your home. Proper backfilling is just as important as the waterproofing itself. πŸ’ͺ After the full waterproofing and drainage system is installed, we backfill in layers and compact the soil about every 2 feet to help prevent future settling and keep everything solid around the foundation. At J&L Waterproofing, we don’t cut corners, we do it right from start to finish. πŸ πŸ’§ #Waterproofing #FoundationWaterproofing #Backfill #SoilCompaction #Drainage by @jlwaterproofing
