Today, I had to say Farewell to my little Satine. She passed away peacefully in my arms this morning, after a few months of serious illness. She was only 9 years old, She was my best friend, my family, my life co-pilot for the past 7 years, my pandemic roommate, the cutest and the best cat I could have asked for. She was originally from the Bronx, and we met on a rainy Sunday at a @northbrooklyncats adoption event in Brooklyn. She was curled in a ball in the corner of her cage, she seemed pretty sad and scared. I knew I needed her in my life. I gave her a nice life and a roof, and she brightened my life and provided me with hours of snuggling, love (in a cat way) and comical entertainment. I am completely devastated and feel like a part of me is now missing. Rest In Peace, Satine. I love you.

Autumn in Beacon, NY. Beautiful colors, fresh crispy air, Halloween spirit, good food, blue sky, and friendly people. 1.5h North of NYC by train, away from all the city madness...

At the Voivod show in Brooklyn tonight... There is a 27 years difference between pictures #1 and #2, and picture #3 (November 27th 1995 in Paris). I had Away to sign the old picture. RIP Piggy. 👽💚👽 #weareconnected

A few people asked me how I make cooked apples in 10min. Here it is:
Peel an apple and cut it into thin slices, and then cut these slices in half. Put them in a cup, sprinkle with cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Add 2 tablespoons of water to mix the cinnamon and sugar with the apple. Cover the cup and microwave the whole thing for 1min30, et voilà... Cooked apples! I typically use it to top pancakes or cereal + fresh fruits. Enjoy!
