I totally get why couples choose to have their wedding in Italy. It’s truly magical!!
Daniel and Dani’s wedding was beyond gorgeous, so special and such fun! We feel grateful to have been included.

Of course we had to visit other parts of Italy besides Tuscany. We snuck in a couple days each in Florence, Milan and Lake Como.
We collected so many memorable monuments. 🇮🇹 And obviously Italian clothes!! by @jmaimin

It would be safe to say your 56th year was monumental! Our twins got married and our eldest daughter got engaged. Along with so many amazing trips and fun moments sprinkled all over the year. One of the most unforgettable moments of Brooke and Jordie’s wedding happened as we walked down the aisle. Unbeknownst to everyone except Brooke, she had planned a surprise that left not a single dry eye in the audience.

Eleven years earlier, on May 31, 2015, when Brooke and Jordie were just 16 years old, Jordie wrote a song exactly 11 years to the day. Brooke found the original recorded version.

As we made our way down the aisle, the song played softly in the background, accompanied by a recording of Brooke explaining its meaning and sharing snippets of memories from their childhood. Interwoven throughout were precious sound bites of Brooke and Jordie as little kids, along with our voices, creating a beautiful timeline of two lives growing up separately and ultimately finding their way to each other.

It was more than a song. It was a love story told through time. A reminder that some relationships are simply meant to be. It was one of the most emotional, touching, and beautiful moments of our lives, and a memory we will treasure forever. by @jmaimin

As we are packing up to go home, my heart is exploding with so much love from all that has transpired over the last month in Australia. Obviously the highlight of the trip was giving away my daughter @madisonmaimin to the love of her life @jakeberkowitz.

It’s hard to put into words what this wedding meant, not only to our family, but to everyone who was there to share in it. I chose these photos not because they’re the most perfect, but because they capture the feeling of those moments, and I wanted to share that feeling with all of you who care to look. 🤍 taken in Sydney, Australia by @jmaimin
