10 years ago I married the love of my life who has been my best friend and supporter through gobs of heartache, adventures, devastation, and unending joy. These are some of my favorite photos from our wedding. I love the way we’re holding hands in the first photo. The second photo of my mom and brother stuns me every time I see it; their smiles mean everything to me. The last photo of me and my dad is one of my more sacred memories. by @jmariecherrytree

I know this news is coming a bit late for some and that this is a terribly insufficient way for many of you to find out. As you’ll see, the Moore family experienced a big loss in November. There will be published obituaries in Dubois and in the Magic Valley, but we wanted to share a little snippet of our dad’s life more publicly. Please excuse the lateness of this news—it’s taken us some time to muddle through the chaos of the last month. Thank you to those who have loved us extra well during this time. The three weird sisters go to Portland! Having these gals as forever friends is an embarrassment of riches. Thank you for letting us celebrate you, Indy. I’m leaving Portland full up of gratitude for blissful beach days and peaceful Portland garden days and day-long conversations and knew family connections and car dance sessions and a million memorable laughs that will stay with me always. I’d go anywhere with y’all. And and and. Y’all are two of the best good ones around.

One thing testing for @jacquelinecieslak has taught me is that my body and my interests should be celebrated by the things I make. I’m in the beginning stages of making my capsule wardrobe. When they put the call out for the #BloomBandeau I knew it would be perfect for all summer long but especially perfect for the late August and September back-to-school days when I want something comfy to wear to work and something versatile I can dress down after my classes are finished. It’s perfect and fits with my body and what I want to dress it in.

Another gem of a pattern is dropping today by @wintersweatherknits. The #MarigoldTee features an easily memorizable lace pattern that creates dynamic stripes across the sleeves and body. It does involve some seaming but Joey’s patterns always help knitters hone a skill or two.
