POSTS STORIES REELS

The school year is almost finished! Our Capstone Class is finally showcasing our projects this coming Friday. Be sure to stop in and see everyone's amazing work! by @jmart3real

Finally got some internet to get this photo ready to post! Our "Through the Rabbit Hole" project for Editorial was tons of fun! Definitely worth the hour of throwing cards around!

Next project on the list was our Ice Cream! One of the problems with photographing ice cream is that it melts quickly so you end up working against the clock. That is unless you fake it!

For our project, we used instant mashed potato mix and food dye to create fake ice cream that never melted! I used real berries and chocolate to finish up the illusion! by @jmart3real

First day working in the Photo Crib on campus! Can't wait to help out! by @jmart3real

Whew it's been a crazy couple weeks! Lots of work and getting ready to move but I'm finally starting school!

This project was definitely one of my favorites from last semester. We used a special microphone trigger for our flash to take photos of balloons right at the moment they pop! I added some extra confetti for a splash of color. by @jmart3real

Next project on the list is our Frozen Drink Pour project. For this one, we lit the drinks we were photographing from the bottom and got multiple shots of us pouring them into the glasses. Trying to capture the fizz from the Coke was difficult but I liked the result in the end! Plus the juice ended up looking sort of surreal and gave it an interesting twist! by @jmart3real

Time for the next project! For this one, we studied different ways to capture glassware. The warping of the area inside the glass and the addition of color made this really interesting! by @jmart3real

The next project we worked on in Photo Illustration was a more "product" based assignment. We were given some things to photograph and it was up to us to find ways to make them interesting. It was fun trying to pose the objects in a way that would better capture the viewers attention! by @jmart3real

It's been a long time since I posted my school projects so I'm gonna repost some of the previous ones and then start showing some new ones!

First up I've got one of my favorites with the macro photo project from Photo Illustration! It was awesome to try and find the perfect distance to focus on my subject with such a shallow depth of field! by @jmart3real

I've finally gotten a Fiverr listing posted! You can find my prices and contact information posted here:

For those who haven't heard of it, Fiverr is a freelance work site that helps people looking for specific projects or jobs outsource their work. It's a great way to find just what you need! by @jmart3real

I had the chance to photograph the wonderful @retrogradecoffee location last month! This place has a wonderful atmosphere and is a great place to take a breather or get some work done! Can't wait to visit again! by @jmart3real

Had a blast in my Alternative Processes class today! We got to look at some cameras I've never seen before. The possibilities for these large format cameras are crazy! by @jmart3real
