The revived mansions of Chettinad for @british_airways High Life magazine.

In the 19th and 20th centuries, rich merchants and traders built 10,000 grand mansions in India’s Tamil Nadu region. By the second half of the 20th century, many had been left to crumble.
Today, a team of formidable women is leading their restoration and bringing their histories to life for a new generation.
