SNEAK PEEK! We will be excitedly presenting our hard work over the last few months on 8/14/26

The Bottom Waits With Open Arms - a reprisal from our EP Legendary Torment.

Let us know what you think so far. We believe we have hit a stride and everyone in ITK is writing OUT OF YOUR MIND music. We have an EP coming out this fall, including this song.

Show tickets are now on sale on @dicefm - link in the bio!

You think you love music until you actually play a real show, then it becomes an addiction. This is an ABSOLUTELY INSANE LINEUP - Thanks to @xstillxtruex for carrying the team on his back with this one! He will continue to bring solid music through here!

As I said the lineup is STACKED @bazookatoothtn @takenlivesky @maeshima.502 @nogravehc @gunculturehc All of us look forward to sharing the stage with each of you at @campspaceman. The best part of the Louisville hardcore community.

Thank you for all your team does. Cities need places like Camp Spaceman to bring people the music they love! We hope to add to the community and look forward to helping it grow!

Does anyone know if it’s worth it to sit through the 30 minutes of ads to find out what unnamed sex toy TEMU is showing you on Instagram? Asking for me. 🤣 taken in Louisville, Kentucky by @jmfkmii

My band’s new single, “I am the Monster” is out on all streaming platforms now. Lyrically, it’s about anxiety and what it can turn you into, if you let it. Proud of this one. Shout to @trevortbdm for his continued inspiration. RIP 🪦

Lyrics:
This beast seems so familiar
Ravaged me for so long
My dark passenger loathes within
So overwhelmingly strong

Its claws are in my flesh
Feel them dig into my chest
The beast ebbs and flows in the tides
Waiting for the wave to crest

It comes crashing over me
Intensity without rival
Desperately seeking something to hold
My obsession becomes survival

Baring my claws
Gnashing my teeth
Anything to distract
From the fear lying beneath

Overwhelmed by the beast
I can no longer remand it
The darkness engulfs me
Thrusts my mind into madness

The acid fills my mouth and
I’m prepared to spit at my prey
No containing the rage beneath
Make way for the hideous display

You can smell the fear in the air
When the mask begins to transform
The control to my limbs is gone
The demon is here, I’ve been reborn

There’s no such thing as diplomacy
Now that I’ve had my taste of the thrill
Train your spotlights on the apex predator
With the intent to kill

Throughout my short experience
Prosperity could never be fostered
Joy will always remain out of reach
Because I am the monster.

There’s an endless amount of great things on the other side of that fear when you make it through.

I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve worked hard for and the ones that landed in my lap. Life is a roller coaster. Let go and hold your hands up every now and then. taken in Louisville, Kentucky by @jmfkmii

I’m not allowed to mosh if I’m scheduled to play a show anymore.

The pattern:

Nodding my head
Head banging
Raised arms
Pumping said raised arms
Pacing <——— This is where you step in before the point of no return.

A spray bottle filled with water should do the trick. If that doesn’t work immediately a sharp “NO,” with a finger pointed in my face should suffice.

Thank you,
Mertz
