November 2nd, 2024:
We’ve enjoyed 91 days of marriage filled with so much love! Some of our wedding photos are in, and I can’t wait to share a few of my favorites. Ross and I both felt like we were floating in a cloud all day, it was truly magical even with some craziness behind the scenes 🥴🥰 Forever thankful to the universe that Charlie was able to be part of our ceremony after having a small seizure two days prior ❤️ by @jmitch.13

Wonky Woods - Day 1 🖤

That humidity stopped NO ONE from having a great time this weekend. Super cool sets this day, especially Honeycomb’s live beat boxing, then going on with Chmura. This was the first time Ross and I have camped at a fest without a group and the universe brought us our awesome neighbor, Phoebe. She chilled to the side with us in the spectator’s galley that day, and we talked to sooooo many folks passing by who had fun trinket trades. Shoutout to @tannenblickdesigns for making this beautiful romper that I felt so great in! We had to pack up early and leave the next day, but really enjoyed spending the weekend at this fest. Wonky Woods - Early Arrival 🖤

First time in Kentucky for us, and first time in our new tent since our old baby hit the dust in the Sound Haven storm of ‘23 😅 Wow, what a warm welcome from this first year fest. Met some amazing individuals, trash can use was in full effect by all, and such homie vibes with everyone looking out for each other. Able to bring our wagon and post up behind some great flow artists. Happy Father’s Day to the man who shows up for this family every day 🖤 I mean just look at the love between that dog daddy and his son 🥹❤️

Ross, you help Charlie through all the challenges that come with getting older. You opened our home to bringing in the most amazing and weird cat. You are always there when my mom needs a hand. Through every hard season, you’ve been the person I can lean on. And I know I’ve had to lean on you a lot lately, thank you for being our rock.

Cheers to 34. 🤍
At the beginning of this year, I was carrying quite a heavy depression that I just couldn’t shake. There were days when joy felt very far away, and I wasn’t sure when things would start feeling lighter. Over the last two weeks, I’ve celebrated life more than I have in a long time in honor of my birthday.
There was a birthday dinner, plant and craft shopping then brunch, a trip to the mountains, Charlie enjoying time in the river, a couple of peaceful nights away in a cabin, and then a trip to Charlotte to see @rufusdusol . The last time I saw Rufus was the week before the world shut down in 2020 at Okeechobee, so this was a pretty special show for me. Hearing them play “Underwater,” the song I listened to endlessly after Gigi passed away, felt like a full-circle moment I needed.
For the first time in a while, the weight feels a little lighter. I have so many people to thank for helping me get here. Friends who showed up, a thoughtful husband who has stood beside me through every hard day, a wonderful mother whose support means more than I can put into words, and the best dog anyone could ever ask for. Life isn’t perfect, but today I feel grateful for it. by @jmitch.13

✦ CHRISTMAS ‘25 - CURRENT ✦

Charlie’s favorite holiday. Thankful as ever to spend another Christmas with him & our families. Ugly Christmas sweater contests, door decorations at work, trying our first Michelin star restaurant, and cold mornings with our beautiful four-legged sons 🖤 by @jmitch.13

✦ November - December 2025 ✦

Celebrated our 1 year married / 10 years together anniversary with lunch in Greenville at @betweenthetreesgreenville on our way to Asheville for the night at @crowneplaza_avl . Won first in my division at a work chili cook off, traded the Jeep in for a Tiguan, and enjoyed more nature around the house. Kizzy (black cat) has fully chosen us as his family, and now a neighbor’s cat visits so much that we bought him his own rainbow bed. Now if only they would get along 😅❤️ by @jmitch.13
