3 years ago today... The first cover I ever shot for @left_magazine was released. Featuring @thebiancadelrio silenced by a silk and marble ball gag (She fancy). It took me 10 mins and 17 snaps in a tiny dressing room with @thejinkx Monsoon half naked standing behind me and @djhawthorne holding my single strobe. She served a unique look for each snap and any one of the shots could have been the final image. This was the first shot of the session... BAM! 10-4 Big Daddy!!

We are playing for more than wins this kick ball season!!

The Daddies, a Stonewall Chicago Kickball team, are proud to partner with 2Bears Tavern Group to raise funds for Center on Halsted’s Behavioral Health and Anti-Violence Project. Together with 2Bears Tavern Group, we’re bringing together Chicago’s LGBTQ+ sports, social, and business communities to give back to an organization that shows up for our community every day. Our fundraising will specifically support the Center’s Behavioral Health and Anti-Violence Project, helping provide critical resources to members of our community experiencing mental health challenges, trauma, violence, or other barriers to safety and well-being.

Join us at The SOFO Tap 4923 N. Clark St. on Sunday October 4th from 4pm to 7pm for the “10/4 Daddies Give Back” Fundraiser.

Music provided by our own Daddy, DJ Ted Eiel!!

This is not a thirst trap post!!!
This post is strictly for medical and therapeutic reasons.

Check-in: 8 weeks back in the gym after a 14 month abcense during recovery. Just making sure my Surgeon and Physical Therapists know how I’m doing.

This has absolutely nothing to do with vanity.

Where could I possibly begin to say anything fitting about someone who means so much, to so many, in countless ways? I'm not one to share my grief publicly. Hell, those who know me best know that I rarely share my grief with anyone. But, Susan is not just anyone who can be simply forgotten or not celebrated.
For the last 20 years you have been my sister in stupidity and chaos and fearless living. We've done everything with love and careless abandon that we would never do with anyone else. We've loved and laughed and argued and cried and explored and partied through natural disasters and encouraged each other and broke more than a few laws along the way. And after each experience we would come back to center and say, "Ok, what's next!?!"

It's been a few days since you left us and I still can't make sense of it. On the day of your passing, I pulled out one of our favorite bottles of wine we bought 20 years ago on one of our extravagant spending sprees. I decanted and poured it into the crystal I used for the Margaux you "convinced" me to buy and I saved for my 50th. The bottle was simply sublime and couldn't have been more perfect, after all these years.

Just like us.

I love you Susan. I will always love you Susan. I will always have an empty place in my heart but I promise you that I will find something random, and scary, and adventurous, and stupid to fill that emptiness with to honor our rare bond.

Thank you for loving me, my family (YOUR family as well as it came to be), and for letting me be just me when I was with you.
