Every morning is a fresh start if you look at it that way. Every night, we go to bed, reflect on our day, read a book...because we never play on our phones in bed because we know it’s bad for...🧐🤦🏻‍♀️😒🤷🏻‍♀️wait, where was I?

🌼 Every night, we close our eyes, hoping for tomorrow. It’s never promised, but when we wake up in the morning, it’s a gift.

🌼 The gift is your doggy licking your face or the sun shining through your window.

🌼 The gift is waking up late and rushing out the door with two different shoes and no deodorant.

🌼 The gift is the sound of your sweet baby crying for you, and then you start crying for you after an interrupted sleepless night.

🌼 The gift is gray gloomy skies, an icy windshield, and slushy snow on the roads.

🌼 The gift is that time you remembered your deodorant, you filled the coffee pot the night before, had your clothes already laid out, and made all the green lights on the way to work.

🌼 The gift is all these things.

Oh hey, hi there new frenz!

I write words for my own blog and for other awesome websites—yep, only the awesome ones. I LOVE creative copywriting and origin stories and editing. I love cheesy poetry and not-so-cheesy poetry. I love not knowing where my thoughts are going to go. Instead, I allow myself to go on tangents, see where they take me, and organize them later. 👩🏻‍💻✍️

I have a hunky husband, a sweet little four-year-old boy who negotiates everything, and a panda bear who’s actually a dog. She’s always been my main squeeze. 👩🏻🐼

Other things about me: I’m an introvert and I love pics/videos of animals acting like humans. I love Tom Hanks (in movies, I don’t know him personally...yet). I’m working on my green thumb and flowers make me happy. I do have several cucumbers, squash, apples on my apple trees, a couple blueberry bushes that don’t do anything, and five tomatoes. Yes—five tomatoes. Are you impressed yet? 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🤓

I’ve been writing for YEARS and I’m excited to revamp my blog and give it a makeover, my ten-year-old self would be so proud. I’m excited to interact with writers and readers and who knows...maybe Tom Hanks? Does anyone have his number?! 🌼 by @jmp.writes
