Today is the day I graduate and finally get to walk the stage CLASS OF 2020 it’s finally our time to get what we missed out on for our graduation day 🫶🏽 thank you God for bringing me this far into my life I couldn’t have done it without him guiding me and keeping my mind stayed focus on him🎓💙🤍‼️

Tomorrow, I’ll be graduating from Old Dominion University🎓💙🤍. Firstly, I want to express my gratitude to my Lord and Savior for guiding me to this point in my life, enabling me to achieve something that many people don’t imagine doing right after high school. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a lawyer, but upon entering college, I pivoted to pursuing a career as a registered nurse. However, I soon realized that science and chemistry weren’t my strengths, prompting me to revert to my initial plan of studying criminal justice. Now, instead of aspiring to be a lawyer, I’ve set my sights on becoming a detective, a path I’m determined to pursue.

Who would’ve thought God would keep me right at home at the perfect time. Some people know my plan was to go to Virginia State University but God placed me where I needed to be at the right time he lead me to get my associates at TCC in 2022 and also still having to go to ODU at the same time to continue to finish out my bachelors coming out of college DEBT FREE‼️🥳. Keep God first always and he will continue to bless you, I had nothing but faith and put my trust in the Lord and leaned not into my own understanding and acknowledged him and he directed my path for me🙏🏽😇.

I am immensely grateful to God for guiding and protecting me throughout this journey. It wasn’t easy, and it certainly wasn’t the path I envisioned when Covid was first announced in March 2020. However, God had better plans for me, providing me with what I needed to succeed, not necessarily what I wanted. I am indebted to my family and friends for their unwavering support. To my 3 wonderful parents, I cannot express enough gratitude for everything you’ve done for me. Your kindness and encouragement mean the world to me. Thank you for the late-night conversations, the tears, and the words of affirmation that have sustained me. Your support for every decision I’ve made has been invaluable. Each of you inspires me to strive for greatness in my life and my future. I couldn’t have reached this milestone without you. I love each one of you dearly 😩❤️ by @jneaa.02
