A huge turning point for me was when I took accountability for the harm I had done. I had been so focused on all the wrongs that were done to me. But I was able to see everything in a new light when I acknowledged my own flaws with love💖 That’s real forgiveness!

When I first decided to stop running from myself, look within and face my demons… it was scary. My meditations weren’t peaceful. My yoga sessions brought up old traumas. It felt like my world was burning… and I was the one lighting it on fire.

But that was such a crucial first step to take. The healing I’ve done was ONLY possible because I walked through that fire.

I FINALLY finished editing my first book of poetry, Bloom Babygirl!✨🙏🏼✨I am filled with so much pride and relief… it has been an amazing and (very) challenging process to bring this all together. It’s 5 1/2 years in the making! I have watched my raw collection of poems slowly transform into a legit BOOK! 🤩 I cannot wait to hold the final copy in my hands🤲🏼
