Last month I went to the AACTA Festival, and Amy so kindly let me be her plus one to the AACTA awards night! She also won best web series for her hilarious online comedy A Series of Unfortunate Dates at the Industry Gala on February 4, 2026 🙌🏼 @unfortunatedates yinz need to watch it, if you haven’t already!

In May I acted in some online commercials for Desky. Literally my fave job I’ve had in Australia so far. And as someone who worked over 6 years in HR and multiple offices, this was also my favorite office job. As Pam, I got to be my true flirty, crazy self. It was like my dream come true 😝 I loved working with the cast and crew on these ads. Talented as! Last month while visiting Brisbane I had my headshots done with @castingreadyheadshots Thanks to @sherwin.saran for telling me about the session and facilitating it!

I obviously love colors, which you would already know if you’ve ever received a color coded email from me 😹 or seen my resume 😝

As someone who doesn’t know how to do hair or makeup, I took a gamble wearing only chapstick and rocking my still a lil cray, freshly washed hair. But I love the unedited look as now casting knows the base of the canvas to work with. And in anything I produce solo, I want to normalize more characters physically in a natural state, which I hope becomes more and more a norm.

But yes, now I cannot change my hairstyle for at least another 5 months 👻 taken in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia by @jnu22

Walking from Banora Point, New South Wales to Kirra Beach, Queensland is easier than you think. It’s a pretty straight forward walk of about an hour and 20 minutes, depending on pace. I did this walk daily for a week or so. Peaceful and great views!

If you’re able to, skip the transport and go for a walk. Your body will thank you 😸 *Plus, if you take public transport, your wallet will thank you as New South Wales DOES NOT have 50cent public transport fares like Queensland does 😅

Aussie Deni’s favorite Aussie thing is FAIRY BREAD 🧚 🍞🇦🇺. This is a true staple of Aussie childhood. I’m waiting for my birthday party invite to experience it myself 😅

In the USA, we don’t have an equivalent to Fairy Bread, but it makes me think of visiting the panaderías (Mexican bakeries) in California and getting the Mexican sprinkled cookies (galletas de grageas) whenever we would buy pan dulce (sweet bread) 😻
