Today I turn 24 years old, and this morning I’m feeling incredibly grateful.

I got to celebrate by going to Seattle with one of my best friends, Ralph, who also took most of these cool videos (thanks bro).

I can be pretty sappy and I could say a lot, but I’ll keep it simple: my life is only good because of Jesus. I know that very well. Every time I forget, I’m reminded that what I try to build on my own is empty and temporary. Life with Jesus is really living; exciting, unpredictable & steady all at the same time.

I think that’s it. Goodbye. If you’re reading this, I love you! taken in Seattle, Washington by @jo.novales

Earlier this year, in May, our team recorded our Summer Sessions project. We’d never done anything like this before, and we watched what started as an idea we knew was from God, become a precious offering to Him.

This collection of songs meant a lot to us and to our house. If you’ve been able to watch any of them, I pray that you’ve experienced God and have been reminded of the Father’s heart.

So much I could say about our crew. But know this, I’m most proud of their humility and the purity of every heart. I’m so honored and thankful. These people really mean the world to me - @cityreach.worship

Our busyness is greedy. It steals beauty and refuses us the moments that make life precious.

I’m thankful that the Lord is so patient. That He never rushes. When I’m going too fast, He meets me at the perfect pace.

Slow down. Read more. Talk to a stranger. Smile to yourself. by @jo.novales

Drove 23 hours to Dallas to be undone by the Lord, drink an unhealthy amount of coffee, go to Buc-ee’s (twice), laugh with David Binion, and make priceless memories.

Oh how we were undone by the Lord.

The first song from our Summer Sessions project comes out this Friday, and we can’t wait for you to see it. This project was created to bring a pure offering to the Lord and capture authentic, raw moments of worship. Every piece of this day was done in humility and reverence.

We pray that what we experienced in that room would translate and be felt as you watch.
