2025 sewing recap
Why now?

Because I recently lost almost all my sewing videos and photos from last year… and with them, so many moments I thought I’d always have.
This one survived only because I sent it to my family ♡
And it made me realize something - I don’t just post for you to see. I post for me. It's more than content for me. Those are memories, reminders of ideas, tiny details and the dedication I put into every single item I sew.

I’ll start to create new pieces and videos as soon as I’m reunited with my sewing machines ✨ by @jo.sx

Less than a year ago, I started occasionally stepping in as a substitute in the class where I was actually a participant - first for dance fitness, later also for step aerobics (thank you for the push @melissa_desh )
If someone had told me back then that a year later I would have a group fitness trainer license and my own classes, I wouldn't have believed them.
And yet it feels like the most natural thing in the world. Maybe because my dad is a freelance artist, teaching West African dance and drum rhythms - I was always there, ever since I was little. I even took my very first steps as a child during one of my dads dance classes, as if I wanted to join them dancing. To this day I love taking part in my dads classes.
What once felt like simply following the rhythm now feels like coming full circle - as if I’ve been dancing toward this moment all along ✨️ by @jo.sx
