I have been on an incredible journey to "The Nest" in Carlsbad San Diego (USA) with my Mentor davidji attending a retreat Secrets of Medit@ation& Manifestation followed by a further immersion as a volunteer in Masters of Wisdom & Medition Teacher Training, working alongside THE Titan of Transformation. You can read all that in my book:

We move through so much of life on autopilot.

The familiar drive to work. The conversations we have while thinking about something else. The morning coffee we barely taste. The small moments that pass while we're busy planning the next one.
And then, suddenly, another week has gone by.

Mindfulness isn't necessarily about finding more time in your day. Sometimes it's about being more present in the time you already have.
Noticing the warmth of the sun.
The sound of someone's laughter.
The feeling of being completely absorbed in something you enjoy.

These moments may seem ordinary, but they're part of what makes a life feel rich.
Perhaps November is an invitation to notice a little more of the life happening around you.

Reflection
What is something beautiful or meaningful you've noticed recently that you might otherwise have missed?

We can become very good at identifying the things that exhaust us.

But there's another side to the conversation.
What lights you up?
Who leaves you feeling better after spending time with them?
Where do you feel most like yourself?
What makes you lose track of time?
What brings a little spark back into your day?

Our wellbeing isn't only shaped by what we remove.
It's also shaped by what we choose to invite more of into our lives.

What gave you energy this week?

We spend so much of our lives switched on.
Thinking.
Responding.
Planning.
Doing.

A reflexology treatment creates something increasingly rare — uninterrupted time in which nothing is being asked of you.

Through targeted pressure on reflex points in the feet, reflexology is used as a complementary therapy to promote relaxation; support a sense of wellbeing and restore balance.

And sometimes feeling more energised doesn't begin by adding more stimulation.
It begins with giving the system an opportunity to settle.

Rest. Rebalance. Reconnect.

Book your next treatment online and make time for YOU and space for your wellbeing.

NOT being your TRUE SELF is stressful and a dishonor to yourself! Stress becomes distress - becomes dis-ease and results in some disease.

Not every kind of tiredness feels the same. Sometimes we know exactly why our energy is low. Other times, we sleep, take a break and still don't quite feel ourselves.

Rather than automatically reaching for another coffee or telling yourself to push through, notice whether your usual energy has changed.

Persistent or unexplained fatigue can have many causes and is worth discussing with your healthcare professional.

Awareness isn't about diagnosing ourselves.
It's about noticing when something has changed.

Our bodies are built for movement.
Walking supports circulation.
Muscles contracting help support lymphatic flow.
Movement changes our breathing.
And physical activity can influence how energised we feel.

That doesn't mean every movement needs to be a workout.

A walk around the block.
Stretching between meetings.
Gardening.
Taking the stairs.
Moving while you talk on the phone.

Sometimes when we feel sluggish, the instinct is to do less. When we feel like it the least – that’s the time to move and shift energy. But sometimes what the body is asking for is simply a little movement.

What an incredible, informative and impactful event HER SEASON MENOPAUSE EVENT . I am so thankful to have been part of the start of a very important Movement on Menopause to build the ground swell of awareness. A subject that needs to be spoken about more openly with respect. It's a topic that needs to be better understood and not judged or shamed.
More education and information is needed to support those who have to navigate this challenging Season of Life - personally & professionally. Charlene George Me No Poz Cindy Downing #menopauseawareness #Menopause #mindsetmatters #reflexology #holistichealth by @jo_marsh_reflexologist

Mindset matters no matter what events or experiences we face. Nothing happens TO us - it happens FOR us. What are we choosing to see? #healthychoices #mindsetmatters #consciouschoices #changeyourmindset by @jo_marsh_reflexologist

We spend a lot of time noticing what drains us. But how often do we notice what energises us?

The people who leave us feeling lighter.
The places where we feel most ourselves.
The conversations that stimulate us.
Movement that wakes up the body.
Music that changes our mood.
Creating. Laughing. Learning. Being outside.
Even having something to look forward to.
Energy doesn't only come from rest.

It can come from engagement, enjoyment, connection and purpose.
Perhaps the question isn't only: "Where is my energy going?"
But also: "What gives energy back to me?"

And once you know the answer, perhaps you can intentionally make a little more room for it.

Bath salts are often associated with relaxation and a sense of calm...when added to bathwater they have the ability to soften skin, soothe aching muscles, and provide an aromatherapy experience through their scent.

There are many benefits linked to soaking with salts...

• Muscle and Joint Relief: Warm salt water helps relax tense muscles, ease stiffness, and reduce aches from physical exertion or tension.

• Skin Health and Hydration: Natural salts (such as sea salt or Epsom salt) can help improve the skin barrier function, gently exfoliate dead skin cells, and soothe irritation.

• Nervous System Relaxation: Minerals like magnesium and potassium help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote better sleep.

• Mild Cleansing: Salt possesses natural cleansing properties that can help clear pores and reduce minor foot odor or skin discomfort.

I highly recommend soaking in a bath with these beautifully scented bath salts after a reflexology session.
