A weekend spent pushing the limits of my comfort zone. The transition from unconscious incompetence to an awareness of mild competency… And a new found understanding of the significance of a good rope and a creative climbing buddy.

I feel like the mountain may have won this round.. But the final descents in the dark although mildly sketchy were actually stunning… taken in Mount Ruapehu by @joaleh

It’s been a fun few months making the most of my weekends and finishing up the Autumn running season…

Half marathon PB ✅
Painful marathon two weeks later ✅
Finding a new winter friendly climbing hobby ✅

Proud to have been a part of the @armstrongfoils journey from 2016 to 2026… The A+ system has remained the same but the continuous pursuit of improvement remains a part of the DNA.
