Vedic Meditation, Breathwork, and helping women break free from guilt and people-pleasing, without losing people they love in the process…

POSTS STORIES REELS

There was a time I needed healing more than anyone. Now I get to watch women step into their power and become healers themselves. Kinda chic, right?

What if you could turn something you love into something you get to share with the world?

And make a living from it. ✨

Becoming a Vedic Meditation teacher has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.

Not only has it deepened my own practice and transformed my life, but it’s given me the opportunity to do meaningful work that genuinely changes people’s lives.

And now, after more than a decade of teaching, I get to teach others how to do the same. ❤️

Our next Vedic Meditation Teacher Training begins February 2027, and I’d love to share this journey with you.

If you’ve ever felt the pull to deepen your knowledge, embody the wisdom and share this beautiful practice with others, perhaps this is your time.

DM me TEACHER to find out more.

You think you can’t meditate.

You think your mind is too busy. You cant sit still. You’ve tried it before and felt like nothing was happening.

But here’s the thing…

Meditation isn’t nearly as difficult as you’ve been led to believe.

And often, it’s our expectations of what meditation should look and feel like that get in the way.

So let’s clear up four of the biggest misconceptions. 👇

✨ Myth #1: Meditation is about clearing your mind.

Nope! Thoughts are a completely natural part of meditation. You don’t need to stop thinking, silence your mind or somehow create a blank space between your ears. Thinking doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong!

✨ Myth #2: Meditation requires concentration and focus.

Nope, not if you practice Vedic Meditation! In fact, it’s the complete opposite. We use an effortless technique that doesn’t require concentration, control or trying to make anything happen. In fact the less effort, the better.

✨ Myth #3: A good meditation should feel peaceful and blissful.

Wouldn’t that be lovely every time! But meditation isn’t always relaxing. Sometimes it’s peaceful, sometimes it’s restless, sometimes you’re sleepy and sometimes your mind is incredibly busy.

In Vedic Meditation, we understand that the body can be releasing accumulated stress during meditation, so the experience isn’t always comfortable. And that’s okay. We don’t judge the effectiveness of a meditation by how it feels.

✨ Myth #4: The goal is to become good at meditating.

Nope. We’re not meditating to get better at meditation. We’re meditating to get better at LIFE!

To be more adaptable, resilient, present, patient and less reactive. To navigate life’s challenges without getting so knocked around by them.

The real benefits of meditation aren’t measured by what happens during those 20 minutes with your eyes closed.

They’re measured by what happens during the other 23 hours and 40 minutes of your day.

And that’s the beauty of Vedic Meditation. It’s not about trying harder, controlling your mind or achieving some perfect state.

It’s about learning a simple, effortless technique that supports you in living a better life.

Most people think a better life needs a big overhaul. But it usually starts with two smaller changes…

The first change is drinking less alcohol. Alcohol borrows tomorrow’s energy to get you through tonight. It disturbs your sleep, lowers your mood and affects your patience with the people you love.

The second is daily meditation. Twenty minutes, twice a day, gives your nervous system the rest it never gets from that glass of wine.

Do both and you will start waking up clearer. You’ll react less. And you will actually like the person you see in the mirror.

Feeling anxious? Before you write it off as just who you are, ask yourself a few honest questions…

Have you tried meditation?

Have you tried shadow work?

Have you reparented your inner child?

Have you stopped abandoning yourself?

Have you tried reducing your alcohol intake?

Every woman in these photos is me. I used to think the depression was who I was. I couldn’t imagine my life ever feeling different.

But eventually I got the help I needed and started taking small steps every day in the direction of change, even on the days I didn’t feel like it. And slowly, I learned to love all of me. The parts I was proud of and the parts I’d spent years hating.

Today I want to be here. I feel joy again. And I don’t hate any of the women I used to be. They’re the reason I can sit with you in your hardest moments now.

If you’re one of these women right now, I see you. 🤍

Grateful for everyone who joined us at Wybalena Organic Farm in Byron Bay last month.

Something profound happens when people come together with a shared intention to go deeper. To shed what no longer serves them. To reconnect with the most alive version of themselves. That’s what this retreat was.

And now we are ready to announce something we have been building toward for a long time.

Our Vedic Meditation Teacher Training begins February 2027.

This is for anyone who feels called to share this practice with the world. After this training you will be completely capable of teaching Vedic Meditation and delivering the course with confidence and depth.

But this training is about so much more than technique.

Because the most powerful thing you will ever bring to the people you teach is not a method. It is your presence. The quality of love you have cultivated within yourself. The depth to which you have chosen to meet every part of your own experience with tenderness rather than judgment.

Real transformation in others is not created by the tools you use. It is created by the space you hold. And the space you hold is a direct reflection of how deeply you have learned to love yourself.

This training will take you there.

Not just as a teacher. As a human being who has done the work from the inside out. Who has learned to meet the parts of themselves that were taught to hide. Who carries love not as a concept but as a lived and embodied reality.

If you feel called DM us “JGD” to find out more.

Day three on our Byron Bay Rounding & Breathwork retreat.

We centered this day around our rage ritual. Giving the body permission to express what it has been holding politely for years. What moved through nature was raw and real and exactly what everyone needed.

Then we went inward with self inquiry work. A handful of simple questions that have a way of dismantling the stories we have been living inside of without even realising it. The subconscious beliefs that have been quietly running the show. The shadows we carry so long they start to feel like truth.

What is real and what is just a story you inherited?

That question landed differently for everyone in the room today. You could feel the shift when someone realised the thing they had been fighting against was no longer necessary!

This is what the inner work can do that nothing else quite can. It creates enough space and enough safety for the layers to actually come up to be felt.

We still 1 spot available for our India retreat in November. If something in you is saying yes link in bio.
