A different look at Morse Polo.🤍

I love how the same design can take on a different feel depending on the wearer and styling. Classic pieces are meant to be enjoyed across generations.

The short-sleeve sample shown here was knitted in Le Petit Lambswool by @bichesetbuches. For a lighter summer alternative, Le Petit Organic Cotton is also a lovely option.

It's been a while since I last posted here. Life has been rather full lately, with ups and downs.

I'm working on a cardigan version of #FernlinePullover, which I released last December. For this one, I'm using @theweeyarncompany Casta Lace held double in Peatlands and Baby Yaga. I love the subtle colour variation from holding these two colourways together.

There's still quite a bit to work out, but I'm enjoying this one so far.

What a journey it has been.

From the first skeins of beautiful Le Petit Lambswool by @bichesetbuches, to countless hours of designing, calculations, knitting, frogging, pattern writing and refining..

The test knit has now come to an end and I’m incredibly grateful to every one of my amazing test knitters for all your time, thoughtful feedback and the beautiful polos you created.

A little update on my Morse Polo long sleeve version in @lanagrossa Cashmere 16 Fine.

It’s growing quickly, even though life has been extra busy lately. My testers have been doing a wonderful job. Their feedback has been very helpful in refining the pattern. 🤍

Also sharing some random garden moments from home. Our hydrangea is blooming, and my son’s pumpkin plant is flowering too. We planted it in only two medium-sized pots, so I’m very curious whether we’ll get any pumpkins at all. 🎃

Summer Snow Tee was my first summer pattern, released last year. Designed for fingering or sport weight yarn, it's a lightweight tee suitable for warmer weather.

I'm knitting a second sample of #MorsePolo, this time in long sleeve version with additional sleeve shaping included in the pattern.

This one is worked in @lanagrossa Cashmere 16 Fine, and it's been really interesting to see how much yarn choice and colour can change the look and feel of a garment. It's been especially fun seeing my testers explore different combinations as well.

(The 2nd photo shows my earlier colour combination before I decided to swap the contrast colours.)

A quick test knit update of #MorsePolo 👕

Things are progressing nicely, and I wanted to share a few close-up shots of the polo details.

Features include a top-down seamless construction, raglan shaping, subtle slip-stitch texture details, double-knitted button band, and both long and short sleeve versions.

This sample is knit with @bichesetbuches Le Petit Lambswool, which gives such a beautiful texture. The colour range in Le Petit is honestly endless and so inspiring to work with.

Thank you to my wonderful testers who are working hard to help me test this pattern. I can't wait to share more as the project progresses.
