Ich bin der Überzeugung, dass wahre Liebe weder ein Alter noch Grenzen kennt. Dass eure Verbindung etwas ganz besonderes ist und die besten Bilder im echten Moment entstehen. Und: dass ihr es verdient habt, in 50 Jahren mit Gänsehaut an eure Hochzeit zurück zu denken. Dafür bin ich da, um das alles festzuhalten. 🫶🏼

Die Vorfreude auf euren großen Tag & eure Hochzeit selbst, ist die größte Freude. Aber was gibt es bitte schöneres, als dieses Gefühl immer & immer wieder durch Bilder zum Leben zu erwecken? Das ist, was Fotografie für mich bedeutet: Geschichten mit meiner Kamera zu erzählen, die bleiben, ganz egal wie viel Zeit vergangen ist. Lets create magic 🎞️🤍

The 10-minute ritual I build into every wedding timeline. 🤍✨

It’s not staged for the camera. It’s a pause.

Ten minutes, right before golden hour fades, where the couple steps away from everyone, just the two of them, and actually breathes for the first time all day.🥹

This shot is from a Mallorca wedding, and it’s the perfect example of why I protect this window every single time:

✨ The light in the last 20 minutes before sunset is unmatched, warm, golden, completely different from midday ✨ Ten minutes is enough to reset before the party starts, no rush, no performing ✨ It gives the couple one real moment to actually look at each other and register: we just got married ✨ It’s the natural bridge between the ceremony and the celebration, the quiet before the loud ✨ The best photos of the day almost always come from these ten minutes, not the planned ones

POV: You eloped in Iceland and completely lost track of time. 🤍

Iceland in early summer has a little “problem”:
It simply doesn’t get dark.

And honestly? For an elopement, it’s pretty much PERFECT. (I mean, the golden and blue hour lasts forever — could it get any better? 🥹)

Because while back home we eventually look at the clock and think, “Well, it’s 7 PM and it’s getting dark,” in Iceland you can still be standing on a black sand beach at 11 PM surrounded by this incredible light.

So you stay a little longer. And then a little longer again.
And that’s exactly how those evenings happen — the ones you’ll probably still be talking about years from now.

Not because every little detail was planned to perfection.
But because suddenly, there is time.
Time to simply stand somewhere together. Time to walk a few more steps. Time for a kiss, a quick glance, and all those little moments that happen when nobody is watching the clock.

That’s exactly the kind of wedding I love. ✨

An elopement that doesn’t feel like a photoshoot, but like a real adventure.
You get married wherever you want to be. You take the whole day just for the two of you. And if the light is still incredible at midnight, then we simply stay a little longer.

Easy as that. 🤍

And maybe that’s the real luxury of an elopement:
Not having to fit more into your day.
But finally having enough time to actually enjoy it. ✨

A little reminder that your wedding can be an adventure, too. 🤍✨

Because just because the big day is over doesn’t mean the celebration has to end.🥹🫶🏼

You can take your dress out of the closet again. Put your suit back on. Pack a bottle of champagne. And simply fly somewhere where the Atlantic crashes against the cliffs and the sun makes everything look a little more golden.
Maybe somewhere like this — the Algarve in Portugal. (Absolute DREAM PLACE!) 🥹

Because I truly believe that an after-wedding shoot should never be just about getting a few more photos in your wedding dress.

It can be an experience. A little escape from everyday life. A reason to travel somewhere you’ve never been together. A day you intentionally set aside just for the two of you.

And if you’re asking me whether you should really put your wedding dress on again for it?
YES GIRL, DO IT! 🥂

Because maybe the most beautiful thing about your wedding isn’t that it eventually comes to an end.

Maybe it’s that you can always find new reasons to celebrate it. 🤍

You don’t need a room full of people to make it feel like everything.🤍✨

Die beiden haben binnen Sekunden mein Herz erobert. Vielleicht auch, weil an diesem Tag wirklich nur sie zwei im Mittelpunkt standen, mit Sonnenbrille, Blumenstrauß und einer Menge an Vorfreude & Mut im Gepäck, denn: Es gab keine große Runde. Kein „Eigentlich müssten wir noch…“. Kein volles Standesamt, nur weil man es eben so macht.

Nur zwei Menschen, die sich anschauen und sagen: Ja. Für immer. 🤍

Denn nur weil ihr „nur zu zweit“ standesamtlich heiratet, heißt das noch lange nicht, dass es sich klein anfühlen muss. Im Gegenteil.

Ihr könnt morgens gemeinsam losziehen, euch irgendwo in Eimsbüttel einen Kaffee holen, beim Standesamt um die Ecke Ja sagen, danach durch Hamburg ziehen, mit eurem Lieblingsmenschen im Arm vor einem Oldtimer stehen, und einfach den Tag genießen. Ohne dass ihr euch dafür verstellen müsst. 🥹🤍

Ohne Hochzeitsprogramm. Ohne Erwartungen.

Und vielleicht ist eine Hochzeit zu zweit genau das Richtige für euch, wenn ihr bei dem Gedanken an eine große Hochzeit nicht „HELL YES!“ denkt, sondern eher: „Können wir nicht einfach heiraten & unser Ding machen?“

What if your wedding day didn’t have to end there?🤍✨

Manchmal darf eine Hochzeit einfach ein bisschen größer gedacht werden.

Nicht größer im Sinne von mehr Gästen, mehr Deko oder noch einem Punkt auf der Timeline.
Sondern größer im Sinne von mehr Zeit für euch. Mehr Abenteuer. Mehr von diesem Gefühl, gerade geheiratet zu haben und die ganze Welt steht euch offen.🤍

Stell dir vor, ihr zieht euer Hochzeitsoutfit einfach noch einmal an und fliegt irgendwohin, wo sich alles ein bisschen unwirklich anfühlt.🥹

Nach Island zum Beispiel.
Durch endlose Lupinenfelder. Vorbei an schwarzen Bergen und tosenden Wasserfällen. Mit Wind im Gesicht und wahrscheinlich irgendwann auch ziemlich zerzausten Haaren.
Kein Programm. Kein „Wir müssen weiter“. Kein perfektes Funktionieren.

Einfach ihr. 🫶🏼

Und genau das liebe ich an After Wedding Shootings.

Nicht, weil ihr danach noch mehr „schöne Hochzeitsbilder“ habt.
Sondern weil ihr euch ein zweites kleines Abenteuer schenken könnt.

Ein Tag, an dem es nur darum geht, zusammen irgendwo zu sein, wo ihr schon immer hinwolltet. Euer Kleid noch einmal zu tragen. Euch treiben zu lassen. Und diese ganz besondere Zeit nach der Hochzeit noch einmal richtig zu spüren.🎞️✨ Ich LIEBS!

Ein Elopement ist nicht weniger — es ist einfach ehrlicher an euren wirklichen Vorstellungen dran. Ihr entscheidet euch bewusst dafür, alles wegzulassen, was sich nicht nach euch anfühlt. (Also PROBS! an euch & das ihr aufs Herzchen hört! 🔥)

Kein Druck, keine Abläufe, die man „eben so macht“. Sondern ein Tag, der sich genau so entfaltet, wie er soll.🫶🏼

Zwischen goldenem Licht, weiten Landschaften und Momenten, die einfach passieren, entsteht etwas, das sich komplett nach euch anfühlt. Und genau das halte ich fest — nicht nur, wie es aussah, sondern wie es sich angefühlt hat. 🤍✨
