The Joy of our life turned one year old today!
💕
I remember lying in bed a few years ago…begging, pleading, and crying to God to give me just ONE child… and now here we are celebrating Joy’s first year! She is everything we could’ve ever wanted in a daughter. She’s happy, fun, and full of personality! Our lives are so much better with her in it! We love her so much!

And to make a great day even better, today marks 20 weeks of pregnancy with our next baby! Halfway done!

She saw her first snow (thanks to Jana Farber-Ware for the teddy bear snow suit ❤️🐻), LOVES to “jumpy jumpy,” enjoys eating berries in her fruit feeder, love her Aunt Les, and we had a fashion show of swimwear for the upcoming cruise! by @joannacperry

Every month we reach I say that’s it’s my new favorite age. Month 5 brought us purées, lunch dates with Daddy, 2 bottom teeth, over 3,000 oz of pumped milk, new toys, giggles, and lots of visits to Daddy’s shop! I love this life! by @joannacperry

Today was a big day for our Christmas Gnome! She turned 4 months, had her check up, and was cleared to start tasting foods! The highchair is set up and I’ll make purees this weekend using food from my parent’s garden! She also rolled over for the first time this evening! 🥲❤️

Being a mother is the greatest thing I’ve ever done. I’m feeling all the emotions because time is just going by so fast, I wasn’t expecting to reach all these milestones in one day. She is the happiest baby! I love my Joy! by @joannacperry

Happy 3 months to our Joy!

And happy one year in heaven, Grandma!

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Joy was born exactly 9 months after Grandma passed. I know everyone has different beliefs about what happens when we go to heaven… but I truly believe with all my heart that when Grandma passed, she spoke to God on our behalf and pleaded to Him to give us a child. If you can intercede in prayer here on earth, why couldn’t it happen in heaven? And if you knew Grandma, she was never afraid to ask for anything.

Nothing beats having a baby. We’ve never been more tired and happy in our lives. Even on the hard nights, where I’m up at 3am feeding her, I just look at her in disbelief. We finally have her. And we’re so grateful. Thank you God.
