TODAY 10th dec 2025 our film is premiering in PARIS at the Festival International Signes de Nuit ✨️🙏

There is too much to say and at the same time im struggeling to say anything at all. But here goes something:

In 2020 Maja Östberg and her independent film company called and asked to do a documentary about me...it was not an immediate yes from my side but fast forward, after 5 years of filming and navigating, we are here at this moment where its time to let go. Let this film and the stories inside fly free. As we always do with the art projects we work on...we only own them until we have to set them free...free for others to interpret, to enjoy, to consume. I have been holding on, twisting and turning all my complex feelings and thoughts about being on the screen but now its time to surrender in order to embrace this journey.

Congratulations to the team - you did this!! Even if i did not show it at all times due to my own insecurities you have done an amazing job birthing this film. I have not yet had time to see the final result due to me birthing my own project at the same time...my solo performance...but I will see it soon!

And my biggest humblest thank you to my closest friends, collegues and family that is both appearing in the film but also kept supporting and grounding me when i have been spiraling and thinking that i want to back out of it all. You are a big reason to why this film now exist, because knowing your stories will be told too kept me going 🌿

This film is not about me. Its about the power of dance.

Im feeling the pull more and more towards sharing what i have been researching, the practise i have been dedicated to for the past years. I had a long break of not being the teacher wholeheartedly, i needed to pour into myself before pouring into others. I still research, my curiosity and excitment is still very strong but now im taking the opportunity to learn more while teaching others my findings! ✨️🌿

Trusting the process and the responsabiliy im being given... i love seeing people experiences the slowness, the watermovements, the slowmotion, the details, the immense prescense, the connection between eachother. Im here for all of it 💌

We are 6 months away from gathering again, under the South African sun ☀️🇿🇦 dancing daily, giving ourself a boost in joy, cardio training, cordination, body control and rest and recharge!

Amsterdam and Ecd (extanded contemporary dance) ✨️ a little photo/video dump of various moments.

What an experience and blessing to come and choreograph your end of year production with you all during 4 weeks. I got to dig deeper into how to transfer my (Land Before times) ideas to other bodies and how to incorporate already excisting strenghts and vocabularities of the dancers into our work.

Everyday it felt exciting and motivating to go to work/to the university...to meet curious and talented dancers, a proffesional workspace, to deal with ups and downs and to immerse myself in the creative work .

The work we created is called TIDE and its a 30 min black box piece for 14 dancers, i will share some moments from it in another post 🌊

Do you see the invisable surfaces? 🌬

Love using my imagination and finding invisable surfaces all around me, creating my own little world for a short while. Its also very challenging (and fun!!) shifting the weight and leaning on air particles that cant physically support me. To top it off, adding my slow motion to this, some magical music and the sunset 🌅

Disclaimer: i know the video is a tad long for instagram, but i dont like to cut flows, just grab some popcorn or a drink and calm down with 3 min of my slower speed.

Tomorrow is the premiere of our new work TIDE! 🌊

TIDE flows with the rhythm of the waves. Guided by this natural push and pull, the choreography rejects rigid structures, choosing instead to follow the organic ebb and flow of nature while bending our perception of time. Using this fluid architecture to build the dramaturgy, the dancers travel from shallow water to the vastness of the deep ocean. Together, they embody the physical and emotional tension of whether to give up or struggle against the stream, balancing on the edge of stability and losing control.

We have had a 4 weeks process with the students and it has been a wonderful experience, getting to know these beautiful dancers and transmitting our concepts and techniques on new bodies! 💧💧

Waterkind premiered 2023 at Sergels Torg via @pasergelstorg. 3 years later and many cities, venues and countries later... we finally made an official trailer for the work 😊 here it is!

This work was a part of Aerowaves top 21 artists in 2025! That was a huge and important milestone for us as choreographers but also for the longevity of the work. We love playing Waterkind, it has become a huge part of our lives: guided to live more in depth with oneself, in connection to others, activation of whole body, appreciation for water, finding magic in everyday life and living life a little more in Slow Motion!

This work plays in alternative venues and we are always excited to see organisers choice of space!
