No trending audio, just the sounds of styling my vanity 🤍

While editing my original style my vanity video, I loved hearing all the little sounds come together. It was so satisfying hearing the raw audio before adding the music, so thought I’d share for any ASMR lovers out there 😌

Kmart wall sconce hack 🤎✨

Saw this hack on TikTok and immediately knew I had to give it a try! I already had these Kmart sconces sitting at home from over a year ago, but never got around to installing them because I wasn’t completely sold on the original pleated shades.

I’m so much happier with how they look with the Elora shades instead! So glad I decided to give this little hack a go.

Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference!

Cozy up my shelves with me 🤎✨

One of my favourite things to incorporate into our home is a mixture of old things that feel new, and new things that look old. There’s just something about layering the two that makes my home feel cozier!!

I’ve linked as much as I could for you in my Shop My (link in bio) alternatively follow and comment “kind” and I’ll send it to your DMS 🥰

Thrifted vs. Styled - bedside edition 🤎✨

A little look at how I’ve styled some of the thrifted treasures I’ve slowly collected throughout the year. I love seeing how each piece gets a second chance and finds its own little place in my home.

A little vanity reset after a busy week while my husband was home from for the week. Now to start another two-week stretch of solo parenting with a clean slate and one less thing on my to-do list.✨

My lounge room just got a whole lot cozier 🤎🕯️✨

When these lamps first came out, I made the mistake of adding the Merlot marble lamp to my cart and not checking out straight away, and by the time I went back for it, it had already sold out! But honestly, I’m glad I missed out because I managed to snag this chocolate marble lamp instead, which is so much more my style.

It’s a lot smaller than I expected, but also surprisingly heavy, which gives it such a luxe feel. I honestly can’t believe it’s a Kmart lamp because it feels and looks so much more expensive than it is! I’m so happy I got my hands on one. ☺️

Are you going to try get your hands on one?

Refresh my vanity with me 🤍✨

After my vanity styling reel, I had quite a few comments and concerns about dust, but 3 months later I actually hadn’t felt the need to dust them at all. I only decided to give everything a little refresh because the vanity itself needed a wipe down, so thought I’d capture it for you since this was the first proper clean. The crystal bowls barely had any dirt on them, but what surprised me was how much came off the silver tray and the stool!

Overall, I’ve found this setup easier to maintain than my old acrylic organisers, which always looked smudged and dirty. As a FIFO wife and SAHM with two little ones, anything that makes my home easier to maintain is a win in my books! So for anyone who was worried about my little crystal bowls, they’re doing just fine. 😂🤍

Cozying up my bedside tables with a little mix of old and new 🤎✨

Keeping things simple and clutter-free for now, because little hands have other plans for my styling efforts 😩

A much overdue thrift haul 🤍✨

I’ve been meaning to share some of these finds for a while now, and I have plenty more tucked away that I’d love to share if you enjoy these. #thrifthaul #thrifting

Thank you @kmartaus for this viral Christmas train diffuser dupe! 🚂

My sister-in-law told me about it, and of course I immediately bought it, because I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it the second I saw it. Safe to say, I’m so happy with how it turned out. I wanted to give it more of a vintage feel, and I think the little makeover did just that ✨

Forgot to press record at the start of my vanity reset, but ended up capturing something so much sweeter. 🥹🤍

My little girl had just finished her solo playtime and decided to join me, offering the sweetest words of encouragement and applauding me for doing a good job.

I wanted to add more of what I managed to capture but her comments took up most of the reel, so will post the finished result seperately, since majority of you voted to post Alora’s commentary 🥰
