I remember when @kodaklens was trying to find his way taking pictures of everything and @memphisbleek was making a name for himself. I didn’t understand the power of those past association. Jay said “your cousin is Jay-z that should be enough”. I thought he was being a jerk. When he was really saying you are already positioned. He was crafting the blue print . The lesson snuck into my DNA. Your associations can change everything!

We did a thing 5 years ago @juli.kaufmann ! We purchased a @bmoharris.bank branch that was burned during an uprising .

We then set out to fill it with love and opportunity for over 49 entrepreneurs through the years.

So much abundance for so many has come forth as a result . Models are being replicated across the nation as @shermanphoenix continues to evolve. Beautiful leadership has joined us on the journey to ensure the legacy lives beyond our personal capabilities.

Thankful for the love that has been showered. The millions of dollars exchanged in community and all of the opportunities that have risen as a result for so many . Lies collect interest and life will eventually send you the bill. So here I am being truthful with myself. Choosing the truth.

We often consume transformational information instead of living in ways that actually transform our being! I’m here for my personal receipts of growth and progression.

God is so masterful!!!! Stepping into this 4th quarter in AWE. In awe of what I believe to be perfect timing. In awe of all I have traversed. In AWE of all the help that has risen to meet me. In awe of how beautiful I feel. I really couldn’t see it or feel it in the past.

My beautiful soul and this body LBS has giving birth to 3 children and it’s still giving!! It’s my birthday month and I’m letting the flood gates of celebration role in. I’m being with loved ones, with my family, with my friends, with my love . Run revelations! I love the views. The clarity. The joy that comes from the freedom of charting my course through any given city. It’s just me and the pavement. It’s actually been 14 years since my last Marathon. I had the math wrong!!!

Today’s thoughts rest with the triumph of surrender. Being single but not alone. So much love here.

@tpearsall414 my priority before anything my heart! We always make it work. We get it done . Senior year here we are. I’m so deeply proud of you. My sun my moon and all my stars rest with your progression as an AMAZING human being. In you God has blessed me with a brilliant and thoughtful companion on this motherhood journey. To raise you and see you thrive has been one of my life’s greatest gifts. You’re still my Pooh even though you were not “ dressed and feeling well “ for our annual photo.

Senior drop off day is complete. Yes I sat outside your dorm room for a while just taking it all in.

Daddy would have been 81 years old today. So thankful for every ounce of his being that continues to shape me. His effortless flow. The way he loved his people. The way he cooked to create space for fellowship and healing. His wanderlust for traveling across the globe. His appetite for knowledge. My marathon body is built in the gym but the real work starts about 15 weeks out. I’ve run 6 marathons… it’s been 7 years. And now, I’m locked back in.

My wellbeing is deeply tied to my physical wellness. This is more than miles it’s mental, emotional, spiritual. The road back isn’t short, but today…I ran.

I almost told myself to wait I need new shoes, a GoPro, the “right” moment. There is no perfect setup. Make the moment meet you where you are!
