The 1975 season ended with a shocking loss for British Motorsports. (Embassy Racing with Graham Hill 1973-75). Graham Hill 1929 - 1975
Graham Hill who give up driving after Failing to qualify in Mónaco took on the job of Team boss and up and coming star Tony Brise took over driving duties for Graham's Embassy Hill Team.
Tony showed some good performances in the GH1 (a modified Lola T370) but bad luck stopped him from scoring more points then the 1pt scored in Sweden.
In November Ex Lola designer andy smallman who designed the GH1 after leaving Lola now designed and created the GH2 for 1976 with small radiator pods and flat sidepods with team testing it at Paul Ricard.
However on thier way back home Graham flying his Piper Aztec Reg: N6645Y carrying Andy, Tony Brise who was to fly back home comercially (British Airways) but got offerd a lift from Graham, mechanics Tony Alcock and Terry Richards and Team Manager Ray Brimble all died tragically while on approach for Landing at Elstree Aerodrome Northwest of London in Foggy conditions. The crash is belived to be a case of Pilot Error or CFIT. The AAIB also learned that Graham flying ratings and night flying had expired aka invalid for 5 years at least. The crash also closed the Team's hope for a bright future as the only staff left wore deputy manager Allan Turner and 2 mechanics.
Graham Hill is STILL The Only Racing driver to Win The Triple Crown: Le Mans, Indy e Mónaco/F1 Championship!!!! A feat that may NEVER be duplicated!
Niki Lauda & Clay Regazzoni driving for Scuderia Ferrari won both drivers (Lauda) and constructors (Regazzoni) along with Winning the last 2 races of 1975. Regazzoni Winning at Monza & Lauda at Watkins glen. #embassyhill #grahamhill #embassycigarettes #1975 #gh1 by @joao.baptista1997

2000 Fontana 500 Part 5/5 & Final by @joao.baptista1997

2000 Fontana 500 (Part 4/5)
Kenny Bräck hopes in following Montoya's feat of becoming a Rookie Winning the Championship evaporated due to engine trouble however it worth to remember that Montoya was Driving for The best team of the 90s unlike Kenny who was Driving for a good team (Team Rahal) but not as dominant as Ganassi plus Kenny needed to lead the most laps and win with de ferran not scoring but he did however became Rookie of the Year.
Michel Jourdain Jr retirement was Mercedes-Benz officially saying Auf Wiedersehen to Indycar, As performances and results wore falling massively post 1997. All of the Mercedes-Benz engines of Kanaan for Mo Nunn Racing, the PacWest duo of Blundell & Gugelmim simply blow up in this Race with the exception Jourdain that was due to Overheating and luiz Garcia jr who didnt even start the race
It was his 13th DNF to what was a Hard season for Bettenhausen Racing. While Fernandez e de ferran are still neck a neck for the Championship. by @joao.baptista1997

2000 Fontana 500 (Part 3/5)
Reaching halfway and after the clean up from Kanaan engine Blow up together with the wrecked cars of Andretti e Servia. More engine Blow ups this time from ex Minardi e Prost/Ligier F1 driver and Honda test driver Shinji Nakano in his Walker Racing entry and Ex Ligier, Brabham, Tyrrell, McLaren F1 driver and Le Mans 24H Winner from Britian Mark Blundell driving on what turned out to be his Final race in Indycar. In fact when you look at his time in Indycar Mark Blundell could be considerd as a one season wonder driver if you compared his 1997 season stats with the rest of his 4 other season (1996, 1998-2000).
In 1997 Mark won 3 Races: Portland, OR a road course circuit, Toronto a Street Circuit and Fontana, CA an Oval along with 5 podiums in between and finished P6 in the final standings while in the other seasons he fail to another Race and a big drop in performance/results like finishing P16*, P18, 23 & 21.
He drove in 81 Races All for PacWest Motorola and Mercedes-Benz.
* 1996 was Mark's Rookie year and survived a Very HARD Crash in Rio when his brakes failed and hit the at an angle with a force of about 120G!!!!! He was very lucky! by @joao.baptista1997

The 500 resumes with Montoya leading. (Part 2/5)
Adrian Fernandez has another shot at Gil for the Championship.
Tony Kanaan 2000 season with Mo Nunn ends in a cloud of smoke taking Oriol Servia e Andretti with him out of the Race also out as Super Sub Memo Gidley whos Toyota engine ends John DellaPena time in CART. Both Andretti e Servia also ended thier time with PPI e Newman-Haas as both would move to other teams for 2001.
1996 champion Jimmy Vasser whos 5 year spell with Ganassi ends with gearbox problems. by @joao.baptista1997

2000 Fontana the 500. (Part 1/5)
Team Penske shows it muscle at the start until rain decided to stop and Postponed the resumption of the 500 mean time in terms of the Championship it was 5 going into the Weekend but after Gil's Record breaking pole it dropped to a 4 way battle and eliminating any prospect for Roberto Moreno having a shot of the title (Pole Position = 5pts). And now from 4 to 3 as Paul Tracy Engine explodes due to the Pop up valve meaning he has no drive and OUT of Championship, Cristiano da Matta in his last Race for Cal Wells was taken out of the Race by Tracy's debri.
The 500 will continue tommorow!!! by @joao.baptista1997
