This was another tough run. I haven’t been able to run during this past week bc I just started a new job. Hopefully I start to settle into the job this upcoming week so I can run more to prepare my body for these longer Saturday runs.

First run back after wedding weekend. I understand why people fall off their fitness streak after a long break now because it was so hard to get out here and do this run today. Pretty tiring day today running a lot of errands in the heat wave, but we managed to squeeze in a run in the evening. It was a rough one today. My body just did not want to run in this heat but some miles is better than none :)

My right calf felt good to run on today. It did get a little sore towards the end but didn’t hurt. I think IT band issue is gone now? because my left knee feels good 🤞
