FFS MIX 168 | JOBE

Born in Newcastle, @jobe_music was initiated into the club scene at an early age. However it wasn’t until the age of 22, when his close friend was given a set of turntables that he discovered his love for mixing records. Since then, JOBE has toured across the world as well as focusing on his own productions. Over the years his sound has evolved too, starting out with minimal techno and moving towards a more melodic sound, covering house, techno, breakbeat, electro and electronica.

JOBE’s debut album ‘Labyrinth’ is out this week

Pleasure to be on @redfreyadj @blooplondon show this week. We got into a lot of topics, including how I started out, my production process, how the @kiosk.id EP came about, touring, and the challenges of starting your own label, as well as playing some new tunes at the end.
