I am so excited to share a project that I have been working on!

I wrote a little book!

My story is written like a memoir of my life from being a young girl all the way to adulthood. A very zoomed out version of my story. I purposely left out quite a bit because as with most stories they are not just mine. I share a glimpse of my thoughts through excerpts of my journals that I had kept since I was young 13 year old girl.

It’s not that I feel like my life is all that interesting or all that thrilling, but I do have a unique perspective on a lot of things because of my experiences and life choices.
So with that in mind if any one person who reads this and finds they want a closer walk with Lord as a result, it will have been worth it.

I share the awkward, the funny, the scary, and the ultra vulnerable moments and parts of who I am. If for no other reason other than to say if God had me then, He has me now, and He has you to.

Kyle has encouraged me to write this for years, I never had the courage. I like being private, so many of these stories have remained buried in my heart or in my previous journals for quite some time. So I’m thankful Kyle had that dream for me.

Thank you to Mug and Lauren who I bugged to read and re read many my pages many times. My high school English teacher who made us write all kinds of stories fiction and non fiction, and Chris C. thank you for coming up with my title! And to everyone in my story, you have helped shape who I am! And you might find that in the end it wasn’t really my story after all. It’s covered with the thumbprints of a loving Father. Jack loved getting to high five Garrett, but the best part was that they shared the gospel at the end and sang “gratitude” and the arena filled with people lifting their hands in praise to the one true King!! Good job @dudeperfect by @jocar0422

No one talks about what having a sibling with special needs means for their other siblings enough. For our boys it means they are learning compassion, empathy, self sacrifice, unconditional love, servant hood, and so much more.
