🌈 MEET THE TEAM | JOCELYN WALLACE Meet Jocelyn Wallace, Chief Marketing Officer · Board Member at Pride Town Connect. 💜 Jocelyn Wallace brings more than 12 years of experience in public affairs, marketing, media strategy, government relations, campaign management and digital communications. Her work has spanned political campaigns, corporate organizations, nonprofits and small businesses, and her messaging and media strategies have helped secure coverage and placements in outlets including NBC, ABC, CNN, FOX and Politico. She has also helped guide political candidates to victory. Jocelyn has produced messaging and strategies for her Public Relations clients that on average reach millions of viewers. Jocelyn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University, where she was an Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar. She founded Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority’s Phi Tau Chapter and later served as Judicial Chair of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. A passionate violinist, she has performed with the Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra since 2017 in the First Violin Section, where she also serves as the orchestra’s publicist and volunteers her time supporting music clinics for underserved communities. 🎻 Her involvement in LGBTQIA+ health education and advocacy began in her teens with AHEC and public-affairs campaigns connected to LGBTQIA+ civil-rights issues, including North Carolina’s 2016 HB2 debate and several bills in the New Jersey Legislature. Jocelyn is also a co-founder of Political Pulse, a firm that prioritizes helping elect LGBTQIA+ candidates and advancing inclusive representation. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ At Pride Town Connect, Jocelyn helps lead marketing strategy, brand positioning, media relations, public affairs, audience growth and cross-platform messaging while contributing to the platform’s broader direction as a member of the board. My first YDA National Convention in Philly was also my last and what a way to close this chapter! From connecting with passionate young leaders across the country to learning from powerhouse speakers shaping our democracy, last week was unforgettable. I went because of Fatima Heyward. She has always been supportive of me and has helped all of us at NJYD grow. The biggest highlight was watching NJ’s own @fatima.heyward lead with courage as she ran for National President. All of us worked really hard to lobby all the states at the convention to vote for Fatima. She is the reason why our state’s Young Dems are mobilized. With Fatima’s organizational leadership skills YDA is going to thrive!! Thank you to Fatima and the NJ delegation for making my first and last convention so special.
