"...to inform the public without bias or favor is this stations highest duty..." -A.J. Fletcher, WRAL founder

I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to participate in this years WRAL's Post 5 Day, and have been a member of WRAL's Post 5 for the last two years. Over the last two years I have learned so much and have had the chance to meet and learn from so many incredible people, and Post 5 Day brought all that knowledge together with a full day of job shadowing! Its one thing to learn about what it takes to put together a newscast, but its something else entirely to watch it all come together to produce something that we often take for granted. The people at WRAL and Capital Broadcasting Company are truly incredible and I feel so lucky to have had the chance to learn from them.

A huge thank you to the wonderful Melissa Heilicser and Jeremy Spearman for all of their hardwork serving as this programs advisors. I can't wait to see how this program grows in the future! 💙 taken in WRAL TV by @jocelyn.degru
