As a director, I’ve been very privileged in my career to work with many talented actresses. For the first time, I’ve been able to compile my directors reel only with some of these dramatic performances! This reel just scrapes the surface of these gut wrenching stories of brave women overcoming their trauma. Something Diversity and myself pride ourselves on portraying… I’m excited to share more of our work in the future but for now… thank you for trusting me with your stories.

In 2025, Diversity Pictures and graduates from AAFTA’s Actors Conservatory came together to create Dead Broke, a film built on collaboration, creativity, and bold storytelling.

Created by the incredibly talented Tèa Gross, this project was such a joy to bring to life. Tèa’s voice as both a writer and actress shines through in every moment, and we are so excited to see what she does next.

The film stars Julianna Duran, Jessica Henderson, Tony Lindsey, and the unforgettable Jenn Bowman as Nana Crime Boss. Jenn brought this role to life with so much humor, strength, and presence.

Earlier this year, we lost Jenn.

As we prepare to release Dead Broke, we do so with full hearts. This film now holds even deeper meaning, not just as a project we are proud of, but as a celebration of Jenn’s talent, her spirit, and the energy she brought to every room and every set.
