And that’s a wrap on Season 1 of the Women’s Super League podcast, Making A Manager 🎙️

It’s been a real privilege to sit down with managers from the Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Super League 2, giving them the opportunity to tell their stories in their own words.

On the pod we take you beyond the sidelines and inside the minds of the leaders shaping some of the most demanding environments in football.

Across Season 1, you’ll hear from Andrée Jeglertz • @amymerricks • @marcskinner1983 • @karenhills5 • @martinpeterho • @tanyaoxtoby • @nat.arroyo • @dvrio__ • @caseystoney • @charlotte_healy , each sharing their journies.

A huge thank you to every manager who gave their time and thank you to the @barclayswsl and the @leaguemanagersassociation for trusting me with this project.

You can listen to the full series now on Apple Podcasts, YouTube and all major streaming platforms. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it!

Returning to football after losing her mum has brought mixed emotions for Kyra Cooney-Cross 💔

Jess was diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma in January and sadly passed away in July just 7 months later

Kyra spent her mum’s final months by her side. Now, as she returns to playing and training, she is keeping her Mum in everything she does and is taking things one day at a time 💗

A little full circle moment. My first Commonwealth Games were in Glasgow in 2014 when I was the aquatics producer for BBC Radio 5Live. Lovely to get back up there 12 years later to report on these Games with BBC Sport.

Swipe for an accreditation photo that chose ‘serving 5-10 years’ 😂
