When things don’t align but you still have a good time 🫶🏼… who would have thought days later I would be on bed rest and off work .. sadly will not be racing again with our very own HYROX Timing Beniboii but will need a new partner to get to that capable mixed doubles Sub 60…. we have had all the giggles been silly and got close to a new PB with a stop or two and a sled adjustments so can’t complain tbh ! i’ve had the best time with this one! Thanks @beniiboiiii 🫶🏼 for the fun whilst pushing , let it be known that time is coming and i will be back stronger than ever 💪🏼

When your body speaks you listen

My Body Said Stop… So I’m Listening
November 2025, I lost my other half, my best friend of 27 years and the father to our gifts of life , to a fatal stroke.
Grief doesn’t leave… you just learn to live alongside it.
Three years on from being hit by a car, I’ve been pushing through pain daily.
This weekend at HYROX Olympia reminded me why I love what I do, my people, my family 🤍
But a few days later, I lost sensation in my arm…
A mini stroke.
No lasting damage. But a wake up call.
To slow down.
To listen.
To choose longevity.
I’m still here. And I’m listening.
For my girls. My why 🤍

I didn’t race to win.
I raced to return.

For my girls, my world, my why.
For the woman who once thought she was never enough and couldn’t.

not everyday is an easy day, “Counting my blessings—big, small, and everything in between. Each one is a gentle reminder that joy doesn’t always shout, sometimes it whispers. Embrace the good moments, even the tiny, fleeting ones we often let flutter by unnoticed. Life is stitched together by these quiet sparkles—don’t miss them. Celebrate them. Let gratitude quietly fill the spaces in between.” On this day my moment was a run in the rain, Thankful & grateful for movement and nature all in one! MY GIFTS OF LIFE,

i’m very blessed to have had all my years to date with my girls, to watch them grow as i give advise and let them choose what to do with it and how to deal with life and it’s many challenges that it has brought along their way, i see them every day wanto become better versions of them selfs, for them 1st and foremost which is a super hard skill to navigate when you have such a big heart and care so much for others, they make this world such a better place with theire strong determination, mindset, theire go get it attitude , most important their respect & empathy towards others they meet along life’s journey.

slide 1: Being FIT saved my LIFE, my muscles were my human airbags, slide 2: it was my happy place, slide 3: with great team mates all around the globe, slide 4 i started to begin to be a little comfy being uncomfortable which is a super scary place for me to be! and that led to me making my way to podiums at @jjkfitnesshq and Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Super SPARTAN , i can not wait for the day i WILL return back to my fitness level & rebuild my airbags to protect myself from those who are reckless on the roads who turned my life upside down im more ways than i could ever ever have imagined, i was very lucky that day not only because of the work i put in daily with my then coach @jade_skillen_performance_coach but also my friend , we crafted & grafted & if i had not been in my state of fitness who knows where i would be. im blessed and forever grateful for those around be near & dear & i can only apologise for shutting myself away, im back to swirl in process one and a half years in i can walk even if in discomfort is my normal i will not pop pills, i will continue to work on myself & be s open as i can be. i wanto be better and for the potential longevity of my future life i continue to put the work in no matter how little that is curently , im not against others taking medication it its just now no longer for me, so erstwhile continued meditation & alike. Stay focused keep positive be open.

I just wanto say for those out there struggling its ok to do so but please 🙏 try not to do it alone its a dark place, put ur pride aside and reach out, you may look ok but you may not vectors internally & no one can read your internal but you, never be afraid to ask for help or even just to talk it out x

Here’s to growth to looking back and reaching forward, I will see you all out in that dance floor once again in my potential future im coming for you x

We all have a past and we are all blessed to have the present, they say knowledge is power and is best shared, so with this as a gift of knowledge, i would say to those with there past or current tough present moment please be kind to yourself, learn to heal and fight for your future self, they are waiting to thank you for being brave, for being accountable and open and honest , so step into this new phase of your life with commitment from your past self to your future self and in no time you shall be there looking back reflecting on how far you have come and being thankful for all you did to get yourself to that point . The work starts now happy healing here’s to your future self from my past self who led me to my here and now ✨💞✨ if i can do it so can you . Made with love by Jodes
