I had so much fun over the weekend seeing @pacificnorthwestballet perform & watching some of my former colleagues retire from their wonderful careers 🤍 nights like these bring back so many wonderful memories, so I thought I would share one here 🩰 dancing Aurora in Sleeping Beauty at Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen, Denmark — a time & place in my life when I truly fell in love with all things interior design while exploring beautiful spaces in CPH & all around Europe, which eventually lead me to pursue a career as an interior designer ❤️ life is funny, and the path forward isn’t always clear — until you look back & everything makes perfect sense ⚡️ #interiordesigner #seattleinteriordesign #interiordesign #ballerina Ballerina dancing Princess Aurora in Royal Danish Ballet’s Sleeping Beauty in pointe shoes and a tutu. taken in Copenhagen,Demark by @jodiethomasinteriors

I love hearing from happy clients! 🏡✨ Here’s what a recent client had to say about working together on their newly designed living room — “(Jodie’s) attention to detail and incredible taste created a space that went beyond our expectations. She encouraged us to step out of our comfort zone and embrace the exciting world of mixing traditional and modern styles. Every piece of furniture and art she selected perfectly captures the essence of our style. She is honest and transparent from the start, takes the time to listen to what you want and is a truly genuine person.”

THANK YOU for the review C.A. 🫶🏻

I find so much joy in working with amazing clients & helping them achieve their design dreams 🌟 working with clients to create their dream spaces fills me with as much fulfillment as my former career as a professional ballet dancer 🩰 I feel so grateful to have found this beautiful second creative career in interior design & am beyond lucky to work with so many wonderful clients ☺️

Hi friends 🫶🏻 i’m heading to London tomorrow and am on the hunt for interior design inspiration while i’m there! ⚡️ fun fact — our family lived in London for a year when my daughter was 3. She developed a British accent while we were there & though her accent is gone now, she still calls me “mummy” to this day ☺️ needless to say I am beyond excited for this trip as we haven’t been back to London since we moved home to the Seattle area in 2017! 🤍 Got any must-see spots or hidden gems for design inspo in London? please share with me! 👇✨

On this beautiful Mother’s Day, I want to wish the best day to everyone who “mothers” 🤍 I see you and am so grateful!

Today my wise yoga instructor said the following — “mothering is the act of giving without expecting anything in return” 🤍 and on this special day I want to give thanks to my mother, who let me move away from home when I was 14 years old to pursue my dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer 🩰 even though it broke her heart to let me go. Now that I am a mama, I know I would do the same exact thing for my daughter in order for her to pursue her dreams 🫶🏻 oh the lessons of motherhood 🤍

So, here’s to those who create special moments of joy, love, and togetherness and bring a sense of home 🌸
